Today’s signing was INCREDIBLE!

I met so many amazing people, signed a whole lot of D’ORCs, and had an absolute blast!

I also got to add plenty of remarks to the books, and I quickly discovered that chicken was by far the most popular request. 😉

A huge THANK YOU to Austin Books & Comics for making all of this happen, getting everything scheduled, and giving me the opportunity to do this signing. @austinbookscomics. I’m incredibly grateful! And of course, thank you to my wonderful family for always supporting me.

This is definitely one for the books. What a day! ❤️ by @spcomicart

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the creator of D’ORC, Brett Bean!

Brett was the very first person in this journey to believe in me. He approved my concept art and gave me the opportunity to be part of the D’ORC family, something I’ll always be grateful for.

After getting hooked on the series, I could barely contain my excitement when we finally met. I stumbled over my words, my hands were shaking, and I felt like a kid discovering comics for the first time.

He signed my original inks for my exclusive D’ORC #7 variant cover, a momento that I’ll treasure forever. :)

@brett2dbean is one of the funniest and kindest creators. From the moment you talk to him, it’s obvious how deeply he cares about his characters and the artists he works with. His passion is contagious. And I think thats what I admire most about him.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the chance to work with someone I’ve looked up to. Happy D’ORC reading! @imagecomics by @spcomicart

I am BEYOND excited to announce my FIRST EVER retailer exclusive variant cover for D’ORC #7!!!!

The big reveal has happened! This means more to me than I can express through words.

Ever since I started pursuing comic art, one of my biggest dreams was to have a published comic book cover. I wanted to accomplish that goal by the time I graduated college.
Instead...at 18 years old, that dream has become a reality.

Seeing my name on an official comic book cover is something I honestly never thought would happen this soon. It’s one of those moments that reminds me why I keep drawing, why I kept pushing through the doubts, and why I never gave up on this dream.

To have my first cover be for D’ORC makes it even more special. This comic is filled with whimsy, hilarious banter, and the best adventures. From the moment I read it, I was hooked. Getting the opportunity to create a cover for the incredible @brett2dbean feels absolutely surreal and I’m so honored to be a small part of something I love.

This retailer exclusive variant, illustrated by yours truly, will have a limited print run of only 500 copies, and preorders will be going live on my website THIS SATURDAY at 6pm EST!

Finally, thank you from the bottom of my heart to my sponsors @elite_comics11 and @comiccameo . A huge thank you to my local comic book shop, @austinbookscomics, for hosting a Live signing event with me. And thank you to Cliff, @tn_comic_collector, for helping us facilitate this whole process.
And the biggest thank you to everyone who believed in me, supported my art, shared my work, bought a print, or simply cheered me on. I truly wouldn’t have reached this moment without all of you.

This is my first published comic cover.
And I know it’s only the beginning. ❤️

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE! 🎃

It’s officially that time of year!

I’ve been super busy lately, so here’s a quick sketch of Absolute Two-Face to celebrate Halloween! It’s easily one of my favorite holidays, and I couldn’t let the day pass without sharing a little spooky art with you all. :)

I can’t wait for tonight! I hope everyone has a fantastic Halloween!🩷 by @spcomicart

INVINCIBLE commission is Complete!!!❤️

This one was a BLAST to work on! I don’t get to incorporate blood into my commissions very often, so whenever I get the chance, I have way too much fun. I really love adding the splashes and pops of color.

Poor Mark… this guy seriously can’t catch a break.🤣

I’m SO happy with how this one turned out! What do you guys think? by @spcomicart

My FIRST invincible commission ever! How? I have no idea. But huge congratulations, to the person who’s claiming this.

I really wanted to portray Mark Beaten up and Bloody for this artwork, almost a bit shaken up maybe in the midst of a combat.

I love Invincible so this was really fun! This is just the sketch and I can’t wait to add the Inks! by @spcomicart

You are my destiny….

One of my favorite couples of all time!!! This is really rough and was made for class to practice different camera angles and poses :). Thought i’d share even if it isn’t my typical work!!

To think I’ve made the very basics of animation… this project was SO MUCH fun. by @spcomicart

Sending in my very FIRST CGC submission!!! I still can’t believe it made it back with a 9.8! 🥹🔥

This is such a special milestone in my art journey, and I’m so grateful for every opportunity to create and share my work with all of you! 🩷

I’m also so excited to learn and share a little about the CGC Artist Account Program, which helps comic artists and creators submit their signed work!

Storm Commission is COMPLETE!!!🩷 And wow, I had so much fun with this one!

This traditional piece was created with alcohol markers and layered colored pencil for added depth. I especially loved creating the stormy background, with her hair blending into the clouds a little! I’ve always envisioned Storm with big white fluffy hair like a cloud.

This might be one of my favorite commissions yet. She turned out beautiful, striking, and so powerful looking, exactly what I was going for! by @spcomicart

Storm Sketch Completed! ⚡️ Commission W.I.P!

I’m so excited that I’ve finally been commissioned to do storm. I love her and I think she is so strong and badass! I especially loved drawing her original costume. I think it suits her so well! When drawing her hair, it was really important to me that I made it feel reminiscent of a storm cloud to tie her design even more closely to her powers.

I can’t wait to see how this piece comes to life with inks and colors. Let me what you guys think so far! 😆 by @spcomicart

My FIRST interior paneling project!

For this class assignment, we were tasked with creating a comic about a funny event that had happened to us recently. After publishing my first cover, I noticed that when I returned to SCAD, some of my fellow students had started calling me the “Dork Girl,” which led to some awkward and often hilarious interactions.

Once we chose our events, our professor challenged us to create a catastrophic event that would affect everyone in the story. And I thought… what better catastrophe than a plane crash that somehow transports all of us into the world of D’ORC?!

My favorite panel to draw was D’ORC himself interacting with me as I tried to adjust to this strange world around me.

This was such a fun little project! :) I’ve found myself completely immersed in the world of D’ORC by the amazing @brett2dbean , and of course, I’ll take any opportunity I can get to draw these characters. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

What do we think? Should I color these panels? 🧐 by @spcomicart

Something fun I’ve been dying to share… 👀🔥

I recently got to do an ASM 363 homage Remark on my D’ORC #7 variant cover. And I have to say… this might be one of my favorite requests yet!

The request was just TOO perfect to pass up, especially sitting on top of the three Bog Monster heads.

This was an absolute blast to draw, and I had so much fun putting my own spin on it!

Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! by @spcomicart
