Few pics from the weekend at the Classic Car Boot Sale in King’s Cross, as part of @spen.snaps ‘ photo walk that he hosted around the area. Loads of vintage cars, stalls, records and characters knocking about, so a pretty ideal place to spend a few hours with a camera. Cheers for the invite @spen.snaps , you absolutely killed it. Such a belter of a day x ——— 📷: Fujifilm X-T5 | Sep 26 by @spen.snaps
My favourite shots from the @thefotoapp walk I hosted last Saturday, representing @aperture.social. All of these shot with the @sonyalpha preset ‘BW’. With the theme of this walk being ‘contrast’ whether it be light vs dark, old vs new, young vs old, this picture profile was my go to for this walk. Sometimes I find i can focus more on composition and framing when i don’t have to fiddle with my settings, so thank you Sony for this profile! Hopefully I nailed the brief, but i’ll let you decide. What is your favourite shot? #sonyalpha #sonypresets #sonyalphaeu #fotoapp #streetphotography by @spen.snaps
What a day, what a walk. Had the honour of hosting a photowalk on behalf of @thefotoapp on Saturday 26th, representing @aperture.social Could not have been any better timing as on route was the @classiccarbootsale was in full swing. Some wonderful opportunities to shoot amazing people in some crazy settings. Super grateful to both the regular @aperture.social attendees and new faces who attended. Would not have been such a special day without you all. Photographs, in no particular order are from the following photographers. Please go give them the love they deserve from their wonderful work. Join me at the next one?…. Collab inbound with @thefotoapp on the 26th September. One to remember! lil recap of the last photowalk with @uptownphotowalk in London. #photowalk #streetphotography #londonphotowalk #sonyalpha by @spen.snaps
Thank you so much to those of you who attended my photowalk along with @eabreuvisuals and @uptownphotowalk. I’ve been so behind on my workload but i’m super proud of the outcome. Who says shooting in bright midday sun produces bad pics? I am obsessed with the high contrast pockets of light and I hope you enjoy them too. Which is your fave? DM me for Tags! by @spen.snaps
Super excited for this one! @thefotoapp is hosting a series of photowalks around the world to bring together the photography community. My walk, representing @aperture.social and on behalf of @thefotoapp will be about two hours walking through the city with other photographers from the Foto community. Along the way, you’ll make photos, take portraits of each other, and talk to people who notice the same light you do. This year’s theme is contrast. Light against shadow, old against new, whatever catches your eye and won’t let it go. We’ll start the walk at King Cross, inside the station to capture commuters and travellers as they come and go, then head up past coal drops yard onto the canals. From there up to Camden, around the markets and then back down to finish off at St Pancras. No experience needed. Bring any camera you own, phone included. The details Duration: ~2 hours Bring: Comfortable shoes, your camera, water, and a bit of cash or your card for food or drinks Cost: Free Once you register, you’ll get a confirmation with the exact meet-up point and anything else you need to know.
