15 years ago. August 9, 2011. It was my first triathlon. My daughter ran into my arms after the race. Had me full with tears. Looking back, there is so much I wish I could tell this guy. Would I have listened? Probably not. by @sprinterventure

Discipline is the code. Results are the proof.

The work gets done when nobody’s watching. Early mornings, late nights, hard sessions, and showing up even when you don’t feel like it.

The results aren’t luck. They’re earned.

Stay consistent. Stay hungry. Let the work speak. 💪🔥 by @sprinterventure

Being evacuated. Nope. Hold your ground. 💦 💦 👨‍🚒 Lucky we are close to a reservoir so the helicopters make quick round trips. #azusafire by @sprinterventure

I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, and for that I will forever be grateful. ❤️

Today, my Giuliana turns 19. Happy Birthday 🎊🎁🎂

@giulianarios_ Tonight I looked back through all your photos and crazy videos. It brought tears and laughter. You truly are special. ❤️. You are a beautiful, strong, independent young woman, and I couldn’t be more proud.

Never lose that strength, that beautiful heart, or the courage to be yourself. Please stop feeding stray cats -they don’t leave. Life will challenge you, but never forget who you are and what you’re capable of.

I loved the little girl you were, I admire the woman you are becoming, and I will forever be proud to be your father.

Happy 19th birthday 🎂 I love you. ❤️. P.S. please start going to the gym with me 💪🏼 🏋️‍♀️ by @sprinterventure

Some things you don’t talk through. You work through.

This is therapy.

It’s showing up. Pushing yourself. Clearing your head. Finding out you’ve got more in you when your mind starts telling you that you’re done.

And workouts hit different when you have people beside you who genuinely believe in you.

@broker_javier was there spotting me, pushing me, reminding me to keep going. That matters.

Surround yourself with people who want to see you win. People who push you forward. People who believe in you — especially on the days when you need that extra push.

Then be that person for somebody else. by @sprinterventure

365 lbs. I failed.

Not almost. Not “I had it.”
I got stopped halfway up.

That’s failure.

So I stripped the weight down to 315 and went right back to work. Two reps. No excuses. No feeling sorry for myself.

My son was there spotting me, and maybe that’s the most important part of this video.

Because this isn’t really about a 405 lb bench press goal.

It’s about setting a goal and understanding that the road to anything worth achieving is going to be filled with failure.

You’re going to get stopped.
You’re going to come up short.
You’re going to have days when you’re simply not strong enough.

Good.

Find out where you are. Learn from it. Get back to work.

That’s something I want my son to understand—and something I need to keep reminding myself.

In the gym. In business. In life.

Failure isn’t the opposite of progress. Sometimes failure IS the progress.

365 stopped me today.

405 is still the goal.

We keep working.
