Sam and I had a crazy week building rods and made a last minute decision to jump into the @_bassbusters_ today on Lake Okeechobee. We got the win with over 28 lbs!! Caught 24.43 lbs today with my boy @raymikel3 in the first @lake_and_trail_okeechobee tournament of the season which was good enough for 3rd place out of 97 absolute hammers! Caught all of my fish on my 7’3 HF Expansion Series @scenkostix . I want to give a huge congrats to @cmanroberts_fishing and his dad Corey on taking home 1st place and Alex/Jenna for taking home 2nd place! It was an incredible day of fishing. Caught 23.53LB today which did NOT get you paid on #LakeOkeechobee However , Sam and I each caught a tagged bass which was good for $200!! We smashed em all day long & had a blast out there. A TON of submerged grass is starting to really sprout all over the place.
