Wow! How do you celebrate something as amazing as SIX HUNDRED CHALLENGES!?! I'm so grateful to have been here since the VERY BEGINNING! There's been a lot of changes, a lot of memories, a lot of inspiration, a lot of creating, and a lot of friendships. I loved the colors in our inspiration photo this week, and wanted to create something a little over the top. I ended up using the same fun fold as the last card I posted. 😆 When I was trying to decide what Holiday set to get from @stampinupofficial I ended up going with the A Little Christmas Suite, because I knew I could use the mice for other occasions. I also loved how perfectly the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Paper worked for this card! If you get a chance this week, PLEASE join us in celebrating. Post your project, tag us @tgifchallenges and then link it up over on the TGIF Challenges Blog. We would LOVE to celebrate with YOU! I want to know, have you played along with tgif Challenges before? #tgifchallenges #tgifc600 #papercrafting #stampinup #cardmaking by @stamptimesomewhere
I knew I wanted to make a special birthday card for my new daughter-in-law (still so cool to say!), and being as she has an October birthday I thought using the sweet scarecrow, and cute little birds from Stampin' Up! 's Fun For Fall would be perfect! I don't do a lot of fun fold card, but I think this one totally worked! I had fun making it, and I think she loved it! I'm looking forward to seeing all the other fun cards on this month's #stampingstation #birdsong hop! Banished to the hallway today... Not even allowed in the room. I'm not playing. No news will be good news, just know if I post another wet floor pic later, it'll be a mix of my flavored water and tears. Confused? Check yesterday's post. Love ya! by @stamptimesomewhere
Opportunity and inspiration haven't lined up for me lately, so I was pretty excited about today. I even tried to look on the bright side and kept going after I spilled my drink on the floor of my stamp room. I mean, at least I didn't spill on my desk and all over my project I was working on, right? Then I spilled AGAIN. This time on my desk. On my assignment notebook, on the Designer Series Paper I was getting ready to cut for the project. That towel on the floor was still drying up the first spill. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Again, it could've been worse..... It still completely took me out of the desire to create, I'm pretty sure I actually felt the last ounce of creative mojo leave my body. Do I try again, or think it's a sign to do something else? by @stamptimesomewhere
I love black & white with a pop of color, so this was perfect for me to make a simple birthday card for my son that loves green - this time it's Granny Apple Green. Combined with a simple, embossed sentiment from A Family Celebration, the Artisan Sketch Garden Designer Series Paper is the perfect canvas for this clean and simple layout. #stampinup #stampinfancyfriday #cardmaking #papercrafting by @stamptimesomewhere
Every year I do a sign for my boys to hold for their first day of school photos. I love the versatility of the retired Alphabet A la Mode Die Set. I reach for it so often, and it was perfect to make these little banners for his sign. It's hard to add a lot of embellishments for anything boy-related, so I added his favorite element - polka dots using a faux embossing technique. I simply punched circles out of another sheet of Basic White cardstock and glued them onto the main piece. I love the extra interest it adds! Bonus - the sign gets the front page of that school year's scrapbook! #stampinup #stamptimesomewhere #stampinfancyfriday by @stamptimesomewhere
#tgifc587 Tone on Tone Challenge featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Silly Old Bear Hello! It seems like keeping up on this blog has been harder than I thought it was going to be. It's definitely a habit thing for sure. I can't believe I used to be so good, so consistent, posting multiple times a week, and now it might be a few times a year? YIKES. Does that need to change? Yes. Do I want it to change?... https://stamptimesomewhere.wordpress.com/2026/07/24/tgifc587-tone-on-tone-challenge-featuring-stampin-ups-silly-old-bear/ by @stamptimesomewhere

Oh bother! I know it's been awhile since I've posted, but a new baby in the family is a great reason to create! (My nephew and his wife - definitely not me! ) I fell in love with the @stampinupofficial Silly Old Bear Suite the moment I saw it, and when I saw that the baby shower theme was Pooh Bear, it only made sense to get it! I love that the Designer Series Paper had this wonderful sheet of ready to die-cut images, it made this card so quick and easy! Being as our theme was to #casethecatalog I got the inspiration for the general layout from a card on page 17 of the May- August 2026 catalog. I'm excited to see what the rest of the team chose to CASE from the catalog! Make sure to hop through for tons of inspiration!
