POSTS STORIES REELS

Every time I look at the Singapore National Stadium, I don’t just see an iconic dome—I see a piece of my own story woven into every steel beam and arch. 🏗️✨

Back in 2012, I had the privilege of documenting the stadium’s growth, capturing monthly progress photos as it rose from the ground. Watching it transform from concrete casts to a world-class arena where the nation gathers has been an unforgettable 14-year journey.

Swipe through the timeline to see the stadium come alive through my lens:

📸 2012–2014 | Building the Icon

• Photo 2 (Sept 2012): Level 1 ring structure casting complete.

• Photo 3 (Dec 2012): Steel structure taking shape.

• Photo 4 (Feb 2013): The moment the very first overhead roof truss was lifted into place!

• Photo 5 (July 2013): Fixed roof solid cover installation begins.

• Photo 6 & 7 (Aug 2013): Peak roof construction set against a golden Kallang sunset.

• Photo 8 (Jan 2014): Assembly of the iconic movable roof.

• Photo 9 (Apr 2014): Golden hour glow as roof completion drew near.

✨ 2015–2016 | Making History

• Photo 10 & 11 (June 2015): The GRAND OPENING! The 2015 SEA Games Opening Ceremony brought the stadium to life with explosive fireworks.

• Photo 12 (Aug 2016): Welcoming National Day Parade to the new dome for the first time.

• Photo 13 (Aug 2016): Singapore supporters roaring as the Lions faced Juventus! ⚽

🌩️ 2021–2026 | Nature & Celebrations

• Photo 14 (July 2021): Catching dramatic lightning strikes around the dome.

• Photo 15 (Dec 2024): A full rainbow framing the skyline.

• Photo 16 & 17 (Jan 2025): Ringing in SG60 with a massive fireworks display.

• Photo 18 & 19 (July 2026): Pyrotechnics and fireworks lighting up the night sky during the NDP 2026 Previews! 🇸🇬🎆

From a dusty construction site to the heart of Singapore's biggest celebrations, Kallang will always hold a truly special place in my heart. ❤️

A decade later, NDP returns to Kallang. 🇸🇬❤️

There is a distinct magic to the new National Stadium dome. Beyond the comfort of being shielded from the hot afternoon sun, the way the light shows project from the roof and every corner of the 55,000-seat arena is spectacular. It felt incredibly special.

Captured the awesome atmosphere during the CR2 rehearsal—here are a few of my favorite indoor landscape shots. 🏟️✨

Big, bright, and beautiful 🌕 — the Corn Moon blessing Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands with its glow.

September’s corn moon came to be called that because it corresponds with the time of the year in late summer-early fall that harvesting corn takes place in the northern United States.
This year’s Corn Moon is also a blood moon

Every year, the grounds of Sri Mariamman Temple light up for Theemithi, the sacred Hindu ritual of fire walking.

Dedicated to Goddess Draupadi, this ancient tradition symbolises purity, devotion, and the triumph of righteousness over adversity. Devotees walk across burning charcoal—a testament to what absolute faith can endure.

A beautiful reminder of faith, resilience, and the rich cultural tapestry of Singapore. 🛕🪔

After weeks of thick clouds and haze, the sky finally cleared up tonight to reveal the magnificent Hunter’s Moon glowing in all its glory right behind the Singapore Flyer. Huge, luminous, and absolutely breathtaking—nature really put on a show for us evening dreamers. 🎡🇸🇬

Up close and VERY personal with the big birds! ✈️🔊

If you think you know eastern Singapore, check out this hidden spot along Changi South Ave at Changi Business Park. During the morning and lunch arrival waves on Runway 02L, planes soar right over the buildings—it literally feels like you can reach out and touch them!

Swipe to see just how low these massive jets get! 🤯
