A bonfire, fireworks and a little Halloween mischief! πŸ”₯πŸŽ† Spending Halloween night with Michael Myers himself… thankfully, he’s much nicer in person! πŸ˜‚πŸ”ͺ by @stargazer_farm
A little witchcraft, a little mischief, and a whole lot of trouble brewing. πŸŽƒπŸ§™β€β™€οΈ Still one of my favourite Halloween memories! #WitchyMischief #HalloweenHaunting #DarkMagic #SpookySeason #WitchingHour by @stargazer_farm
Luna has always been a helper. ❀️ Although I’m not entirely sure standing in the wheelbarrow is helping me clean out her shed! πŸ˜‚πŸ #LunaTheGoat #FarmLife #GoatLife #StargazerFarm #FarmAnimals by @stargazer_farm
The last pear hiding on the tree… 🍐 Somehow we missed it, and it just kept growing. Look at the size of this thing! A little farm surprise I definitely wasn’t expecting. 🌿 #FarmToTable #BackyardOrchard #PearSeason #StargazerFarm #HarvestDay by @stargazer_farm
Remember those green apples I picked this morning? 🍏 They’ve already made their way from our farm to the table β€” baked into a rustic red-flesh apple galette and served on my grandmother’s cake stand. A little harvest, a little history, and a very delicious afternoon. 🍎🩡 #FarmToTable #RedFleshApples #AppleGalette #HarvestSeason #FamilyHeirlooms by @stargazer_farm
If eating our pears while harvesting our apples is wrong, I don’t want to be right. πŸπŸŽπŸ˜‚ #AppleHarvest #OrchardLife #Homegrown #SaanichPeninsula #FarmLife by @stargazer_farm
When you’re doing all the work but someone else is Employee of the Month. πŸ“ No names, but feathers have been ruffled #TheFarmstandBook #FarmstandFinds #FarmstandLife #VancouverIslandFarmstands #VancouverIslandFarms by @stargazer_farm
Meet Deborah β€” the storyteller behind The Farmstand Project. While I’m out exploring back roads and photographing the stands, Deborah will be getting to know the people behind them β€” the growers, makers and dreamers who make these little roadside places so special. She has a wonderful way of listening and finding the story beneath the surface. I’m so happy to have her alongside me on this adventure. Because this book isn’t just about farmstands. It’s about the people who bring them to life. Thank you to Maureen @stargazer_farm for the 🐐🐐❀️ by @stargazer_farm
Is this summer’s last rose? 🌹 #LastRoseOfSummer #SeptemberGarden #EndOfSummer #GardenLove #StargazerFarm by @stargazer_farm
Are they ready yet? 🍎✨ Not quite… I sliced open an Airlie Red Flesh apple to see how the season is coming along. The seeds are still pale and the flesh is only beginning to blush pink β€” a sure sign these beauties need a little more time. The anticipation is half the fun. 🍎🌿 Soon… very soon. #AirlieRedFlesh #AppleSeason #OrchardLife #StargazerFarm #SeptemberHarvest by @stargazer_farm
Hello, September. πŸ‚ A little pumpkin on the fence, two dahlias still showing off, and that first cozy whisper of fall in the air. πŸŽƒπŸŒΈ #HelloSeptember #CozyFall #DahliaSeason #FarmLife #StargazerFarm by @stargazer_farm
Fresh from the garden and straight into the jam pot. 🍐✨ Sweet, golden pear with a little zing of ginger β€” the kind of jam that makes you want to put the kettle on and toast another slice. A little taste of Stargazer Farm, tucked into a jar. 🀎 #GingerPearJam #StargazerFarm #FarmstandLife #PearSeason #GardenToJar by @stargazer_farm
