🗓️ October 23–25, 2026 Lauren Drake is a Seattle-based actor, vocalist, singer-songwriter, improviser and voice teacher. She has released four singles and one EP of original music, available on all streaming platforms. ✨ How would you describe your music? ✨ My released music is all very personal. I try to create an immersive time capsule with each song; a living memory of a moment or feeling to come back to and to share with others. My song “All Mine” was written to capture a feeling of quiet, warm contentment about my life and everyone in it. “Play Along” was written to try and make sense of the disillusionment I felt after a difficult year of loss and confusion. Most of my music falls into a folk-pop category, with some songs skewing farther into each genre. Thoughtful storytelling is incredibly important to me as an artist, and that effort bleeds into every element of a song; lyrics, composition, arrangement, vocal performance/arrangement, mix, etc. In the past year especially, my priority as a songwriter has shifted from personal catharsis to listener clarity and takeaway, so that their experience of this living memory is a unique kaleidoscope of its own. 🗓️ October 23–25, 2026 ✨Lani Call ✨is a graduate from Wayne State University where she received her MFA. She is a multi-disciplinary artist focused on collaborative ensemble training, classical work and rigorous physical theatre.  “Desire and the body meet to explore the female, feminine and feminist languages that are revealed when freedom and surrender clash.” This is a non-linear exploration of the female body exploring the various ways that women in cultures are veiled, gagged, silenced. These are not victims, they are women who continue to find articulation, expression and sexual desire beyond those oppressive structures. Shifting shelves, I call them, slip sliding, dissolving and reforming to express story and experience through their enlivened bodies. @laniedracall ✨This piece will be directed by the incredible @nikeimoru1111, this is a dramatic duo you seriously do not want to miss! ✨Alma David Taylor ✨is a composer, music director, and actor. Through storytelling and musical performance I want to share what I refer to as “me songs.” They are the songs that I wrote to get me through challenging times, or songs that poured out of me when I felt like I was on top of the world. Songs that I wrote just because I was open to receive and the muses granted me a song to honor an important moment. What all t by @starstuff_fest

Inspired by the experimental worlds of Italo Calvino, QFWFQ is a genre-defying solo performance weaving together personal history, architecture, jazz, gender identity, Judaism, Zionism, Gaza, and the stories we inherit. Breaking the fourth wall from beginning to end, Gregory invites audiences to consider one powerful question: Who gets to tell the stories we choose to hear? @gregorynussen TL Forsberg:  “Between Two Worlds – I Wasn’t Cancelled... Just Confused! (Chronicles of the Not Deaf Enough Girl)”
Blending original rock music, ASL, storytelling, and theatrical performance, TL Forsberg shares a fearless and deeply personal journey through fame, disability, identity, and belonging. Equal parts concert, memoir, and call to action, this acclaimed Fringe hit reminds us that our greatest differences can become our greatest strengths. @tlrockson Anthony Fedorov: “What Are the Odds? – An American (Idol) Story”

✨SEATTLE! The stunningly captivating Tricia Buzzard is creating an immersive piece for you this year at Starstuff! We were blessed to have experienced a preview of it last week and it’s a MUST SEE! ✨ You have multiple changes to experience this piece over the weekend but seating is limited! So be sure to snag your spot! Tricia Buzzard is a violinist and multidisciplinary collaborator whose work has taken her across the United States and around the world. Classically trained but irresistibly drawn to unconventional programming, she has performed everywhere from concert halls and museums to coffee shops, dance floors, yoga studios, and front stoops alongside dancers, singers, aerialists, actors, hip-hop artists, folk musicians, and other unexpected creative partners. As Starstuff’s 2026 Immersive Artist, Tricia will take us on an exploration - with her violin as companion, character, and guide - through the often invisible landscapes we carry within us. Drawing from her own experiences with mental health, isolation, healing, and the search for connection, she creates an intimate encounter shaped by live music and collective presence. The piece invites us to pause amid the noise of being alive: to listen, breathe, and perhaps recognize ourselves in one another. Even in our loneliest moments, what might become possible when we remember that none of us is breathing alone? Check out her bio on the next photo! Join us TOMORROW! A few weeks before our short form artists and songwriters perform for you, they share what they’ve prepared with the others artists. At this point, each songwriter has only gotten to preview the solo show they wrote their songs in relation to. As they listen to each other, the anticipation grows to see how it all fits into place. WELL the time is near! THIS WEEKEND, Oct.23rd-25th, you can also discover the unique way these artists found inspiration from each other’s work!! ✨Link in bio for Festival passes + full weekend schedule✨ https://astrolab.productions/starstuff/ #starstuff #festival #seattlemusic #seattletheater #newmusic by @starstuff_fest
