After a bit of planning, we are all very stoked to announce ASKAPUNK.NZ

This is a new community run gig guide for Aotearoa/New Zealand Punk, Hardcore and adjacent gigs!

Social media is controlled by a few shit corporations, and we wanted to make something that is owned by the community for the community, that isn’t reliant on social media and its stranglehold on gig promotions. All local Punk and Hardcore gigs in one place!

Garreth from NZHCPP saw the concept of the AskAPunk gig guide in Australia and reached out to the community here in Aotearoa, and loads of folks have come together to make this happen.

Special thanks to Garreth and Sara for coordinating this project, as well as Luke from askapunk.au for helping build the website!
