We have some BIG news, Staunton 🥳🎨 Staunton Clayground is growing, and we’re so excited to share our new home: 110 W. Beverley Street, in the former Queen City Marketplace/Grand Piano building right in the heart of downtown Staunton! And we’re going to have room for so. much. creativity. The first floor will be home to everything you already love about Clayground, plus room to do even more: 🎨 Paint-your-own pottery 👐 Hand-building and wheel classes 🖌️ Pottery, fine arts + craft classes ✨ Dedicated glazing areas 🎂 Birthday parties + special events 🛍️ A front-window retail space featuring work from local potters and artists And upstairs? We’re dreaming even bigger. Eventually, the second floor will become artist studio spaces and a place to gather, create, and connect with our community. We can’t wait to bring this building back to life, fill it with art, and create a space where even more people can discover just how much fun it is to make something with their own two hands. There’s a lot more to come, and we can’t wait to take you along for the ride 💛 📍 110 W. Walk into Staunton Clayground any time between 7am and 10pm, any day of the week, and you’ll find members in the middle of it all. Glazing a piece they’ve been thinking about all week. Throwing on the wheel and finding their rhythm. Adding texture, carving details, trying something new. And just as often, sharing ideas, encouragement, and a few laughs along the way. That’s what a Clayground membership looks like. Consistent access. Creative freedom. A community that shows up for each other while they show up for their craft. If you’ve been wanting more time to create and a place that feels like your own, this might be it. 📷 @octobergracemedia #StauntonClayground #PotteryStudioVA #CeramicsCommunity #WheelThrowing #ShenandoahValleyArts by @staunton_clayground

Five minutes, a little paint, and a whole lot of conversation 🎃🖌️ Stuart Hall School’s 9th graders put their communication skills to work during Paint and Network, a creative twist on speed networking. Students had five minutes to connect with local business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community members while painting pumpkins together. The goal? Practice having authentic conversations, ask questions, build confidence, and learn more about the people who make our Staunton community thrive. No presentations. No formal interviews. Just genuine conversations, a little creativity, and connections that go beyond the classroom. We loved being a part of it! 📷 @octobergracemedia #ShenandoahValley #CommunityConnections #ExperientialLearning #PotteryAndConversations #StauntonClayground by @staunton_clayground
