I never make the typical thank you posts promoters make after shows. I usually like to move on once the show is done. However, our show last night was one of my favorites we’ve done in recent years.
I considered canceling it when the last venue shut down while my dad first entered the hospital. But thanks to the guys in extortion cellar and ritual mass, we were able to re-locate the show so I could be there for my dad in his final weeks. Once my dad passed the thought of going to a show while consumed with the most intense grief of my life seemed nearly impossible. But I reminded myself that I started going to shows at 11 years old, and this has been my life for more years than I was living before punk and metal.
I just want to thank everyone who played, and our community for showing up early and staying until the end. It brought me comfort to see so many old friends last night and to watch strangers lose their mind in the pit. I couldn’t be happier with the turn out, the sets that were played and the overall vibe.
Thank you everyone, especially to Erica for providing the sound. We will definitely have more shows at the rock room. by @steelandboneproductions

I am devastated to share that my father Richard Carbone passed away on Saturday January 31st after a brief illness. My husband Phil and I were by his side holding his hand.

Now that my dad is gone I can’t stop remembering all the good times we had and I’m craving more. He was a good father who lived for his wife and kids. He look us on as many vacations as he could afford and he tried to provide the best life possible for us.

I believe that him and I are a lot a like and I get most of my good qualities from him. He was one of the funniest people that I have ever met and had a unique quality for coming up with the most hilarious nicknames for other people. We spent a lot of time together traveling the country when I played hockey, and he loved our road trips. He was always my biggest supporter of my art and music. He encouraged me to go to Pratt when I was younger and talked me into staying when my brother died and I wanted to drop out.

I’m heart broken that I just moved him near me so I could take care of him and my mom, just for him to only be here for 6 months. My close friends know he could drive me nuts but I’d never give up on helping him because I owed him that and I loved him dearly.

Im planning a celebration of life for him on Long Island in the summer time. I will post more information when I have it. Would be great to see any and all friends that would like to join us. by @steelandboneproductions

The air grows colder, the days shorten, and the festive season’s hollow cheer begins to fester. But from the heart of this post-holiday desolation, a frozen flame will ignite.Heart of Winter Fest returns.

Prepare to cast off the saccharine chains of commercial ritual and embrace the bitter, soul-crushing truth of the season.

On January 8-10, 2026, we descend into the abyss once more. The current gathering of titans is epic, a testament to the unending darkness that binds us. But this is not the final word. The remaining unholy rites will be unveiled in due time, a final reckoning to complete this ritual of sonic obliteration.

Early-bird tickets are now available. Do not hesitate!!

After the holidays, we gather to bury the past and praise the coming darkness. We can’t wait to spend the weekend with you all. by @steelandboneproductions
