This is a short preview of an unreleased short film I produced a while ago. It was also my first attempt at directing.😅 The storyline is much deeper, and I plan to continue writing and producing with more intent, and direction. Over the last 6 months in LA, I’ve grown as a creative and as a storyteller. I will be creating cinematic films that are REAL and RAW. At the same time, every narrative will have a message behind it, and all my content will continue to UPLIFT and INSPIRE. No brain rot films.😊 With that being said, I am looking for other filmmakers and collaborators who want to create inspirational and faith based content.🙏🏾

🎬“If We Dream” is now streaming on @_uplifttv
This short film has a special place in my heart. Filmed 4 years ago (July 2022), it was the first film I’d ever produced! What’s even more significant is, the script was inspired by my mom who was a phenomenal writer and a big dreamer. After I finished the script, I said “Hey mom, I have a surprise for you, I wrote a screenplay that’s gonna get produced.” I remember her anticipation. Unfortunately, she passed exactly 2 weeks before the film dates. My life paused, and the production dates cancelled. Thankfully, I was working with the best award winning cinematographer in the southwest region @eugenehawkins11 who also happened to win a “Best Director” award for our film. I reached out to him a few weeks later, fully expecting my low budget short film to be scrapped 😅. But he said, “Let’s do it!” If we never filmed it, I would have let the “dream” go, and not be where I am today. So in a way, completing this short film kinda saved a part of my life and was an escape from a dark place. As I have newer projects that will be released on UpliftTV Network, I just wanted to share where I started at and a little piece of my heart. And remember no matter what you’re going through, it’s NEVER too late to start. ❤️ It’s only up from here!
And thank you to my AMAZING cast mates for sticking with me through the project @the_originalyn757 @jace_theactor_p @veighway by @airianrenay
