foggy mornings yearn for words to be written into melodies // what was it all for? 4/9/25 by @stellavioletstrums

I figured out how to write love songs this month! how lucky I am to have someone to inspire that ☀️☁️ happy valentines day 💕 by @stellavioletstrums

a song I wrote a few weeks ago and brought back out to revise today. a gloomy one but I’d love to hear people’s thoughts if you have a few minutes to listen… the state of the world and future is really terrifying sometimes. my heart goes out right now to the children in Gaza, for those who were killed in the school shooting right down the road from me last week, for everyone suffering and also just the pains of an inescapably online era. it’s all too much to think about a lot of the time, shouldn’t have to be things to think about. I hope our country can do better.

and! I’m happy to have a toddler sister who will grow up not only considerate, safe, and aware.. but also appreciative of video games and music if she has fake controllers and ever gets fake AirPods 😅

Remember You from adventure time! quick lofi cover before I head out this morning because this songs been in my head and I wanted to learn it <3 by @stellavioletstrums

recent song I’m still workshopping, first half written on a lonely evening at the end of the school year and second half the other week while camping. decided to take a video under the stars before I hit the sleeping bag last night

(note: flicker is sadly not even from a campfire, just tried to add a filter to make video show up better and it’s acting dumb) by @stellavioletstrums

Pleased to announce the release of my second song — I’m Just a Tree! Now out!!! Give it a listen on your favorite streaming platform and let me know what you think!! (Spotify artist link in my bio)

Written, recorded and produced by me in my room. Shoutout to my parents for their musical feedback and support as always <3 Cover art also sketched and edited by yours truly.

Wrote this one in January 2023, and it’s been one of my favorites since. I was thinking a lot about the complexities of my upbringing and the simultaneous gratitude and difficulties that come with life. If the birds and sky are dreams and idealisms, and I’m just a tree…I’m still grateful for the sun, for my rooted body (tangled as those roots may be), for the unique way I was planted. Trying my best to be good with it all. And I hope on the days I’m feeling useless, people will still be there for me <3

I wanna keep making my music and getting better at making my music! Anyway go give I’m Just a Tree! a listen thank you love you by @stellavioletstrums
