💜 Different artists. Different stories. One Wisconsin Craft community.

“Besides being a part of this talented community, I made some great friendships, which is invaluable.” — @stephaniebartzphoto

“Being part of this community makes me feel that I’m not only sharing my work, but also building bridges between cultures.” — @coriagraphicarts

“Being part of Wisconsin Craft connects me with people who value making, sharing knowledge, and growing together.” — @tonymacias4273

For more than a century, Wisconsin Craft has brought artists together across generations, backgrounds, mediums, and career stages. Some members are just beginning their journey with us, while others have supported this organization for decades.

Continuing this work takes more than creativity. It takes financial support.
Your donation helps us create exhibitions, educational programs, networking opportunities, and resources that strengthen Wisconsin’s creative community.

💜 Every gift matters. Donate today and strengthen opportunities for artists, expands educational programs, and enhance the cultural life of Wisconsin. by @stephaniebartzphoto

What a gorgeous day to spend with friends checking out the Covered Bridge Art Studio Tour!
61 working artists, 41 stops!

I love getting a peek into an artist studio, filled with materials, tools, works in progress and finished pieces!

Bonus - catching up with artists friends in their studios and hugs!

While scouting for my next photo shoot, I happened upon this artist, James Barnay. While he worked, we chatted and he explained his process of painting murals. He doesn't use a projector but preps the wall by using a grid method.
The story that is unfolding is about the history of some of the people who came through Ellis island and ended up in Waukesha.
I asked him if he is on social media, and he said, yes and no. He doesn't really post, but others post about him. Well, I guess i'm one of the people now sharing his art and story. by @stephaniebartzphoto

I highly recommend and encourage you to seek out this incredible prolific artist, @jarpin_printmaker.

His art show Ninety-Nine Percent is up thru Oct.11th @vargallery

He's such a skilled and clever creative. I'm honestly in awe of his art.
I love that he also hung up some of his carved woodblocks!

It's always a joy and surprise when one of my clients sends, a hand written thank- you!

* Well, none of us are models by a long shot, you did a great job of capturing the happiness that we feel when we are together*....

The simple act of kindness, it goes such a long way.

As a kid, my mom taught me to never take for granted someone's generosity or thoughtfulness. I've been writing had written cards all my life. Sending a lil sunshine through the mail. by @stephaniebartzphoto
