VACATION PHOTO DUMP TIME. Already ready to go back tbh. by @steponmeshoeman
Photo dump pt. 2 (featuring yummy food) β™₯️ by @steponmeshoeman
I know I just got home, but I’m already ready to go back. After my throat recovers from the cigarette smoke, anyway. This be the first of a few photo dumps. πŸ“Έ of me by @whittypixie by @steponmeshoeman
Alrightβ€”gonna finish this instagram line out with a throw back to closing night (and my other trips) to #GalileoBRT @berkeleyrep If you’ve talked to me literally at all these past few months, you probably have some idea how much I love this show. @strongdanny @zoesarnak and @michaelweinermusic have written a brilliant piece of theater about the importance of and sacrifice that comes with speaking truth to powerβ€”with a punky rock score that’s just out of this world. While I’m constantly bummed that my summer of dragging my friends from LA to San Francisco and back on the weekends to watch this phenomenal show is over, I truly can’t wait to follow it along wherever it goes next! As for the costume… You know that classic, super relatable moment when you chat with @rauleesparza at the stage door and he offhandedly mentions that his insanely intricate leather doublet was die-cut, and that information decides to live in your head rent free? No? Just me? Well, I did… and it did… and then I had to try and make it and here we are. I cheated a littleβ€”mines pleather for one, and rather than a shirt and a jacket, I flatlined shirting into my doublet to help support the pleather after all the cuts. You would not BELIEVE the time it took to cut all those holes on a ye ole Cricut Maker. This past weekend at LOJ was probably the last ride of this guy until I can remake it in some actual leather, but I’m super proud to have made it, and to have my own little piece of this wonderful show forever. Swipe ➑️ for the memories! by @steponmeshoeman
