Well, this was a sweet bit of news today! Found out this piece was selected as a finalist for the Almenara Art Prize! Big thanks to the Almenara folks and the jurors—I’m honored and humbled. Big congratulations to all the finalists and Honorable Mentions! by @stevendaluz1
Turning 70 was a poignant milestone for me. So, it was time to do another self-portrait. A lot of introspection and self-reflection, that I hoped to capture in this piece. I decided to use an extremely limited palette, slowly fading into my own thoughts, coming face-to-face with the realization of our mortality. “ Self-Portrait at70”; oil on ACM panel; 24” x 18”…. by @stevendaluz1

Finally back in the studio after a long hiatus. Grief has a way of sucking one’s energy and focus. Hope to have this on completed soon… by @stevendaluz1
Art by @stevendaluz1 as me as the reference model was featured on TV with @kens5 & @itsagreatdaysa but will also be displayed with @anartegallery_ in April! Loved working on this Texas project. Swipe to the end for the TV feature. I’m currently on tour in Melbounre until 27th Nov then heading to📍Tasmania: Nov 27–Dec 3 before some hiking on Mariah Island 🏝️ Although I still have some great travels coming up, I plan for Melbourne to be more my base so I can commit to other projects like acting & fashion shows as well as more creative photoshoots. Starting to plan my return to 🇨🇰 Cook Islands (might hike & freedive) New Zealand 🇳🇿, Bali 🇮🇩 (come see an underwater temple with me?) & UK with a few peaks in mind to climb 🇬🇧 featuring England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 & Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 as well as my first time to some new places next year 😊 🌏My next overseas trip will be in December! ✈️ I’m back in Melbourne Dec 6th - 11th (some great opportunities to offer!) & some Jan dates (shoot me in my city base before I move to another Melbourne home?) then I’m back overseas between more AUS trips to ACT, NSW, QLD & WA with breaks in Melbourne between! ✨I’m still doing remote shoots in Melbourne at my city apartment, the ruins & in late January & early February I’ll be back in Sydney able to do more at the waterfall & beaches! 💕If you would like to know about more of my Asia or Europe plans, please let me know 🙏 looking forward to some overseas hikes 🥾 #latviamodel #latviamodels #latviaphotographer #latviaphoto #latviaphotography latviaphotos by @stevendaluz1
