Introducing: Sticks Golf Research We’ve done a little face lift on the brand and I decided to add a word to our name. When I started this a few years ago frankly I had an ambitious idea, no video experience and had no idea what this brand would become or what kind of content we would end up producing. After spending 5 years working on all kinds of productions, projects, creative jobs across the golf world. Sticks is finally in the position I hoped to be in when I started. We are an original golf film company. We make documentaries, travel films, and tell original golf stories. Original. Entirely at my discretion. A huge inspiration of mine creatively and the reason I started all of this is a few companies and film makers working in the surf and snow film industry. I knew golf was missing the kind of films created by the talented people in action sports. I saw high production value films taking talented athletes and traveling the world telling interesting stories. This is what I wanted to make in golf. So I bought a camera and started making videos. And 5 years later we have a fully funded original travel film series taking great players on interesting golf trips. It felt time to upgrade the branding and make a change. Research is a word used by a couple of my favorite action sports brands and I love the playful over explanation of what we do. Calling a day spent on the course with cameras “golf research” is fun in itself but it’s genuinely what we do when we make a film. We travel, explore, research, play, document, and report our findings. We are now SGR. Sticks Golf Research. If you’re a stick, want to be, or just enjoy seeing the game the way we do. You belong in the SGR community. Welcome. If you’ve been here a while, you’ve seen the journey and I can’t thank you all enough for the support! -Trey Wren The logos and word marks were brought to life by the talented @mcwhortercreative and we will be bringing a new website online with some merch with our new marks. by @sticksgolf
It’s finally here ! Our sticks only pro shop is live on our website. We’ve been trying and testing these lids and layers all over the world. The ((3)) is reserved for sticks. by @sticksgolf

This is how @a_baileycle won the @usga Mid Am A week and final match I shall never forget. Incredible battle by Bailey and @ndizzle4shizzle The Lido was the biggest star. The firm turf and the most strategic course I’ve ever seen combined for a match play chess board like no other. Can’t wait to get back and play it again myself by @sticksgolf
Last research project before Columbus Day break—this semester has been a grind! When I found out the Lido logo was a siren I started to like this place even more… and i was already at peak, “liking it.” by @sticksgolf
This morning I walked and watched my friends battle one of the great match play courses in the world. Brad saw the greatest 4 iron he’s ever seen. I had to trade a little sleep to share this first clip and wound up with nine holes. See you at 7:20am on the tee @sandvalleygolf by @sticksgolf
