Headmaster-Elect Mr. Josh Dixon and Father Aidan McDermott, O.S.B., traveled to Dallas, Texas, over the weekend where they met-up with Drew Acker ’24, Zach Knippel ’09, and Thomas Rempe ’25 to reminisce about their Priory experience, along with share the latest news and exciting updates on campus. Mr. Dixon and Father Aidan also visited the Cistercian Abbey of Our Lady of Dallas and Cistercian Preparatory School to build connections and foster relationships with them. Father Paul McCormick, O. Congratulations to Mrs. Nikki Hostnik on being named a recipient of the University of Notre Dame Admissions Office Golden Guide Award for the third consecutive year! The Golden Guide Award recognizes educators who demonstrate excellence in advising students throughout the college search and application process. Recipients are anonymously nominated by graduating seniors who have been admitted to or are attending Notre Dame. Here’s what a few Priory alumni at Notre Dame had to say about Mrs. Hostnik: “Unrelenting support and advice throughout the entire college admissions process. Not only did she have answers to all my questions, but she was extremely supportive through it all.” “For months, she consistently stayed to look over the applications of half the grade, even working on weekends, but also made time for us to ask her individual questions or simply chat. It was clear that she cared not only about the schools we are going to but also about each of us as people.” “I wouldn’t have been able to get through the application process at Notre Dame or several schools without her help.” Congratulations, Mrs. Hostnik! We are incredibly grateful for your dedication to our students and all that you do for the Priory community. #SaintLouisPriorySchool l #FindYourPlaceAtPriory by @stlprioryschool

At Priory, we foster a culture of student leadership and community outreach. The United Service Organizations (USO) club at Priory is dedicated to supporting our active-duty service members. The USO is a congressionally chartered organization that supports active service members in over 260 locations around the world. The USO club meets weekly to discuss USO’s history and how we can help their cause. Led by Form VI students JJ Medler ‘27, Augie Werner ‘27, and Jack Kingston ‘27, the USO club recently donated approximately 90 pounds of toiletries, drinks, and food to the USO Center at Lambert International Airport. In addition to collecting donations, the USO club members each handwrote supportive and encouraging letters for active service members. Our donations will go towards supporting the USO center and will be shipped to military personnel serving around the world. #SaintLouisPriorySchool l #FindYourPlaceAtPriory by @stlprioryschool
At the end of the fall sports season there are two Junior School traditions - the Rusty Bucket football game and the Dusty Trail cross-country race. It’s an opportunity to bring the students together for 8th grade vs. 7th grade competitions. In the end, it was the 8th grade football team earning bragging rights once more after defeating the 7th grade in a competitive game. #SaintLouisPriorySchool l #FindYourPlaceAtPriory by @stlprioryschool
