“Adding more structure brick by brick” I decided to launch this branch of the company during the pandemic. I noticed some changes that was coming into the industry and decided to put my own spin on things. I noticed labels pulling back on deals and a lot of artist not trying to go into traditional deals. Artist were also complaining about not seeing their funds or wanted to know exactly how much they were making monthly. So I sat and brainstormed and researched and decided to launch @stoponedistribution A platform where artist could distribute their music see monthly earnings and streams get an advance against their music. Artist can also get discounted studio rates to record or mix their project and receive marketing all % based off your catalog. I reached out to my web developer/ coder @kamia_nashaun @spg_llc to handle all the tech work to make this live. With recent artist like @bandmanrill @kaicash and others making the platform work for them I can say things is off to a good start. S/O to my staff @twelvemusic for coming through on the day to day. Man this is what I been doing the last two years structuring and developing. “Sometimes you gotta clear the noise to see the picture” 🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑 by @ceosaad

Independent artists: before you sign a music deal, know what the language actually means. 🎵

This carousel breaks down five music business terms in plain language:
1. All-in royalty
2. Cross-collateralization
3. Album commitment
4. Pipeline income
5. Cue sheet

Save this guide for your next deal conversation and share it with an artist who needs it.
