happy Valentine’s Day to the lovers, delulus, and the healed. cant wait to catch up soon 💚 by @stopyellingpodcast

*gets the sudden urge to type out my feelings in a paragraph* i wont go too crazy -

i journaled so heavy this week, especially this morning. my anxiety has been through the roof. still finding balance in all the chaos. the moment i think i figured it out, something hits me out of alignment. i friggen love my life, so grateful for everything/everyone in it, but everyday is a new opportunity to rework what you thought was certain & try to appreciate every piece that goes into it by @stopyellingpodcast

“Society has it set up for women that you’re one or the other. You’re either putting on your heels and banging out the door and don’t see your kids OR you’re like this really sweet mom. It’s like no I’m both. I’m actually everything.” - @emmagrede

This was said, heard & taken with me after hearing her say something so true and not spoken enough about. There’s no one or the other. I can be both, I am everything. You cannot expect your child to be happy unless YOU are happy.

Prioritize yourself, too. it’s okay to still be who you are outside of being a parent without it being neglect or selfish. find the balance between the two. this doesn’t mean go out and forget the kids you have at home, but allowing time to be with yourself so you can still be who you are.

Stop Yelling at others, Stop Yelling at yourself, make the necessary adjustments and create your own narrative. 💭
