Always a highlight directing @bbbaumgartner by @storyandpixel

@kharypayton is a real one! It was a true pleasure to direct him a few weeks ago alongside a stellar crew, agency, and client. From idea to shoot we had a week and half while also shooting other projects 🤯 @hookjd you have the coolest friends 🥰 Sending love to all the actors striking and our crews who will be impacted. by @storyandpixel

Earlier this year, a group of fly fishing guides in Ketchum, Idaho received an action alert from @cvidaho encouraging them to take steps to oppose a threat to the public lands that their careers rely on.

They rallied together and decided they would do whatever it takes to protect the land for future generations.

This summer, we collaborated with Conservation Voters for Idaho and Silver Creek Outfitters to make a mini-documentary that tells that story.

I’m deeply honored to bring this vision to life at such an important time.

Be sure to follow @cvidaho to stay up to date with the release of the film, and to learn about the ways that you can help protect public lands. 🏔️

WOW!

The response to the first Filmfort Pitch Contest was incredible! We received 24 submissions from filmmakers across the country. The pitches spanned genres from documentary to comedy, drama to Western and beyond. The judges had their hands full with picking a winner. Five finalist had the opportunity to give in-person pitches to the judges and they all came so prepared with materials to show off their grand ideas.

Congratulations to Creston Brown on winning the first annual contest. A collaboration between @microdose_cinema / @storyandpixel / @different.animals brought to the filmmaking community during @treefortfest. And a huge thank you to @idaho.film for being a Filmfort sponsor, providing a space for these filmmakers to pitch their projects, and being an invaluable hub to filmmakers and film lovers in Idaho. Also, thank you to @theflicksboise for hosting Filmfort and the Pitch Contest Winner Announcement!

We look forward to assisting Creston in his creative vision! by @storyandpixel

We are thrilled to share our new live editing feature, which we worked on for the past year. It has been a game-changer for us and our clients, especially during our busiest year ever. For example, yesterday I filmed a short video for IBM with @therealptahhenrigarvin, while Mandy edited it live. We watched the rough cut together and came up with a key extra shot to elevate the project. Our micro team produced a high quality video in no time and now we just have minor polishing before we can deliver it. We save a lot of time by avoiding unnecessary shots and getting instant feedback from clients; which also reduces the chance of reshoots. The days of the dreaded rough cut are over! by @storyandpixel
