I have a new headshot! And I figured it’s never a bad time to reintroduce myself here. My name is Franki. Im a trans artist and tattooer, collector of rocks and trinkets, & friend to bugs (most of them, at least. There are probably some bugs that don’t care for me). I grew up in Florida and have been living in Portland for nearly a decade. I was formally trained in illustration, but have been tattooing full time since 2018. I co-operate a tattoo studio with my friends called @keepsaketattoo.pdx. I deeply love tattooing. To be a part of someone else’s act of self love and expression through adornment is something that I hold very close to my heart. Drawing (outside of tattooing) is still an integral part of how I express myself and mark the passage of time, as well. Swipe for some non-tattoo art I finished recently. Social media is weird, but I do like to make sure folks can put a face to a name. Thanks for following me and looking at the things I draw and the rocks I pick up. 📸 @tinydeerstudio ~ Thank you! by @strange_vessel
My tattoo artist went to FL and all I got was this lousy flash sheet: part 1. 🐊 These four new flash pieces will be available in my Flash Book! They are priced between $350-450 depending on size. I have a larger flash piece that I’ll be posting tomorrow as well. Link in bio to book an appointment for my last remaining flash spot in June or any of my July dates. I won’t be taking flash book appointments in August because I’ll be traveling quite a bit! Thanks for lookin love u have a good day 🤓 by @strange_vessel
New Flash Pt 3! Dec booking available via the link in my bio ~ by @strange_vessel
New Flash Pt 2! Booking link for Dec in my bio ~ If you want any of these rockscapes larger than 4 inches at the tallest/widest, submit a booking form so I can schedule you appropriately. :) by @strange_vessel
New flash pt 1. I’ve been working hard on drawing some new designs for the flash book. I draw slowly, and I’m trying to embrace that slowness and the process in which I’m making things. There are times that I wish I could crank out more for y’all faster, but in this AI saturated instant creation / gratification era that we’re in, I’m grateful for the time it takes me to make something with these little hands o’ mine. I’m opening Dec spots in my calendar for you to book! Link in bio. Two more flash sheets coming in the next couple days ~ by @strange_vessel
(Reposting because Instagram destroyed the quality of this photo for some reason?) Well dang, if this ain’t the cutest thing I’ve tattooed in a while. Custom Kangaroo Mouse for Shane! Not pictured: the tail that wraps around to the other side of the arm. by @strange_vessel
So pleased to have finished building this beautiful viney sleeve off of a single small flash piece I did a couple of years ago! Inner arm is fresh, everything else is healed. Thank you Loren, for such trust in this project and in general for being such a delight. by @strange_vessel
I can’t believe it’s been a decade of loving you. Time flies when you’re gay and in love! Max, you love me so fully and so well, and I couldn’t ask for a better spouse and dog co-parent. I am so proud of the ways we have grown together over all these years. I can’t wait to celebrate by looking at rocks in the desert with you this week, as God intended. Some silly photos to celebrate 10 years together (📸 @robbieaugspurger), two from our wedding in 2021 (📸 @studioxiiiphotography) and the final two are from the redwoods in 2025 VS our first trip together in 2017 (when we were just wee babes!) by @strange_vessel
Custom common murre with a little snack for Elena. Thanks for coming back for another one! by @strange_vessel
October snail mail. I’ve been having so much fun sending out stickers and postcards every month. Sign up via the Patreon link in my bio! by @strange_vessel
Cute little one from the other week. Thank you Ojan! by @strange_vessel
