POSTS STORIES REELS
/ NEW RELEASE / Swedish synth-pop duo Kvarken releases their second EP, “Hässleholm”. A collection of atmospheric electronic pop, blending pulsing synths, cinematic soundscapes and distinctly Nordic melancholy. Moving between introspective storytelling, melodic hooks and darker electronic textures, the EP explores themes of loneliness, identity, relationships and the search for meaning. Featuring the previously released singles “Rygg”, “Dansa” and “Arkimedes princip”, alongside two new tracks, “Gathundar” and “Vaggvisa”. Music link in our bio. Check it out! 😎 by @strawtownmusic
/ NEW RELEASE / Today, Swedish jazz saxophonist Per Thornberg releases his new EP ”Tonal Landscapes”, featuring pianist Stefan Wikrén. Four expressive interpretations of compositions by Norwegian composers Rolf Løvland and Tore W. Aas, where saxophone and piano meet in an intimate interplay of melody, improvisation and musical sensitivity. Featuring the previously released “Heartstrings” and “Adagio”, alongside two new recordings, “Silver Lining” and “Papillon”, the EP captures the duo’s close musical connection and years of playing together. / NEW RELEASE / Hampus Carlsson is back with “Aldrig bli vänner”, a genre-bending pop track blending autotune, chopped vocals and experimental production with a strong melodic core. A personal declaration of love to a friend who has lost hope, and a reminder to keep moving forward without letting your own light fade. Produced by Johan Weber, known for his work with Walter Nilsson. Music link in our bio. Check it out! 😎 by @strawtownmusic
/ NEW RELEASE / “Vem som” is the latest single from Swedish indie artist Åke, combining his guitar-driven sound with honest, story-led songwriting. The song captures the feeling of finally lanhding somewhere new, where the outside world fades away and even the smallest details suddenly feel meaningful. A song about falling in love, discovering a new perspective and being ready to let go of what came before. Music link in our bio. Check it out! 😎 by @strawtownmusic
/ NEW RELEASE / “Vännen” is the second release from Swedish singer-songwriter Gustaf Johnsson on Strawtown. A delicate and melancholic song built around intimate storytelling, beautiful melodies and a warm, organic sound. The song reflects on friendship, flawed human nature and the stories we tell ourselves about how we would have acted differently. Recorded deep in the forests of Hälsingland with Viktor Rasimus Ek, who plays almost every instrument. A fragmented story that leaves room for interpretation. Music link in our bio. / NEW RELEASE / “Jag har dig” is the latest single from Swedish indie-pop duo INTERMISSION, blending soft, atmospheric production with a melancholic and intimate mood. Sung in Swedish, the song explores the search for warmth, validation and meaning through both love and drugs, and the dependency that can hide beneath those feelings. A subdued and emotionally charged song about trying to escape an emptiness that never really goes away. Music link in our bio. Check it out! 😎 by @strawtownmusic
/ NEW RELEASE / “Arkimedes princip” is the latest single from Swedish synth-pop duo Kvarken, moving from fragile piano-led melancholy into an expansive, pulsing synth landscape. Beneath the electronic energy lies a restless reflection on knowledge, meaning and the human need to understand. As each new layer pushes the song forward, its tension remains unresolved – leaving a haunting question about who really lives the simplest life: those who seek the answers, those who already have them, or those who never ask. / NEW RELEASE / “Kör bara kör” is an uptempo Swedish rock track from Jörgen Andersson, blending melodic AOR influences with driving guitars, a strong melody and an infectious chorus. The song explores the balance between planning for the future, taking responsibility and still allowing yourself to live in the moment. Sometimes the best way forward is simply to stop overthinking, let go and keep moving. Music link in our bio. Check it out! 😎 by @strawtownmusic
