Last few favourites I took in Istanbul last month.

Can't wait to return next year.

Happy weekend all! by @streetwithmatt

During last week's workshop, while taking photos outside of a teahouse, we were invited inside. Turned out it was a local football club's teahouse.

They showed us photos of themselves up on the walls from decades back, and shared tea over cards and rummy tiles. by @streetwithmatt

For a peaceful break in Istanbul, head down to the Moda waterfront around sunset for some quieter scenes.

Plus lots of cats. by @streetwithmatt

Got lucky with some fantastic light during rush hour on our first evening in Istanbul. by @streetwithmatt

A few frames from the ferry the other evening.

The ferries remain one of my favourite things about Istanbul. Both for photos and for the opportunity to recharge. They hold a meditative quality. by @streetwithmatt

The Notting Hill Carnival is back this weekend! Europe's largest street festival and a massive celebration of Caribbean culture. Highly recommend if you don't already have plans.

I'll be taking my 2 year old son along to the family day on Sunday. Maybe see some of you there. Fingers crossed the weather holds.
