It felt so good to get back to my roots and sing a few tunes at home the other night. 🎙️ Pat Benatar has always been one of my greatest idols. In fact, I learnt a lot just by watching her live performances on TV. Here’s my hot take of her song ‘Love Is a Battlefield’. Special mention to this Taylor acoustic that I picked up in Melbourne last year from @colemansmusic - little did I know I’d be investing in the guitar that would begin a brand new musical chapter in my world ♥️ • #musician #artist #musiciansofinstagram #singer #fyp by @strictlygianna_music
Three quarters of the year already done and dusted. It’s been a hugely bittersweet year so far, and my word, have I felt all the emotions this week. I’ve been excited, nervous, sad and unsettled, and driven by slight desperation to make things happen! But, you know what? Nothing great ever began without the slight feeling of discomfort or uncertainty. No pain, no gain! 💪♥️ #music #musician #stage #photography #guitarist by @strictlygianna_music
On Sunday, I performed as part of an event alongside some incredibly talented Veterans who came together to share their passion for music, and raise funds and awareness around our support for Veterans in Australia. Needless to say, it was an incredible day, and an honour to perform for a hugely worthy cause. 🙏🏻 Thank you so much for having me! May you continue to find peace and contentment in the music! 🎶🙏🏻 # Sunday August 2nd Panthers Leagues Club #music #musician #stage #photography guita 📸: @christabelle_grace - The Angel behind all the photos and videos from the day. LIFE VS YOU - PART II 🌟 • The ‘why’ behind my first reel of how grief affects your voice 🤍 Part iii will focus more on how to learn to work with it and through it as someone who performs on a daily basis, not just singing, but through daily work life! #music #grief #support #speak #life by @strictlygianna_music

I believe one of the greatest, most complex lessons in life is ‘acceptance’. It can be as big as accepting that you may not be where you thought you would be at this stage, or as heavy as accepting that incredible love that was never yours to keep, or maybe it’s as tiny as accepting that the sun wants to hide behind the clouds today. Life, God, or whatever you want to call it, really pushes you to completely let go to teach you trust, and accept that your hands do not always have to be on that wheel. No matter how many times you’ve rehearsed it in your mind and how you or those around you THINK it should go. ‘Acceptance’ shows up differently all the time. Often, we’re faced with things such as: “I wanted it to go like this…” or “I can’t do that, I’m not good enough for it” or, my personal favourite “I can’t believe I ever let myself do that.” I’ll tell you, the second that we accept what’s not in our control, that it’s okay for us to explore and discover ourselves, and accept where we came from, the good and the bad…oh my, does life change!! Have I cracked the code? Not entirely, but I’ve spent enough time reflecting to understand that this is a big part of any step forward towards inner peace, and I’m ready to share it in depth with you. ✌🏻 • • 📸: @christabelle_grace #music #musician #studio #innerpeace #life by @strictlygianna_music
