Staying informed should be easy. If you're feeling unsettled about what you need to know, swipe and learn about four ways to stay informed on campus.

Brightspace: Download the Pulse App to get notifications from your Brightspace account. Brightspace is not ony for your course information but also university announcements.

Corq: Download this app for a quick schedule of events both socially and academically.

The Weekly: is a newsletter that comes directly to you via email each week. It helps you stay up on important deadlines, shares relevent resources, and opportunities that our students can engage with on and off-campus.

RAVE alerts: sign up to receive these alerts when there is an emergency, campus closing, or other important notifications from our University.

When in doubt, call the Division of Student Affairs at 304-876-5030, by @studentssu

Have you noticed something on campus that could create an accessibility barrier? Say something! Whether it’s a hard to access entrance, accessible buttons not working, or something else that makes navigating campus difficult, your observations matter. Help Accessibility Services make Shepherd University an accessible and inclusive campus for everyone!

It's advising time. This is the time when students should be meeting with their academic advisors to plan for their Spring 2027 classes. This video shows a student sitting on a park bench just hanging out. Then, her advisor reminds her it's time to to meet with her for an advising conversation. If you haven't already, log onto Myshepherd, find your advisor, and email them to set up a meeting. Nov. 2 is the first day students can register for classes. by @studentssu
