At the end of my masters, I created Adopt Your Local, a community project supporting local pubs. Somehow, I even got to sponsor a pub quiz in my area and give a little something back to the places that make a community.

So beyond grateful for everything my masters has given me. I’m coming out the other side stronger and more in love with design than ever before ! Now onto the design industry… 🤞

Thank you so much to my tutors @drnraven for pushing me so far and to my friends on my course for contributing, attending events and making the course so fun. @siannah.mck @joshbroughh and more ❤️ by @studio.convey

I finished my masters degree!!!

As part 1 of 3 for my synthesis I explored nostalgia as a whole in order to better understand it for a communal loss. Informed by the nostalgia theory by Fred Davis, this book explores all the stages he mentions: a rose tinted outlook on the past, a confusion in what was real and finally questioning the modalities.

This book was crazy fun, Fifi and the flowertots, teletubbies, crash bandicoot and crayons. It was just so fun to look back on my own childhood like this!

Massive shout out to @butterflygirl.grace who inspired the first chapter of this book!

This week’s Creative Spotlight is ‘Zibbit’: a playful, tongue-in-cheek insect repellent mockup created by Manchester-based graphic designer Rosie Convey (@studio.convey) for a @designerbriefs brief.

“I wanted to challenge what we see in the stores: scary medical-looking products and make something to shine with your camping or hiking gear,” says Rosie of the idea.

If you’d like to be featured in the next Spotlight, head to the pinned post on our page to find out more

Can’t believe it but I got recognised for pentawards and Zibbit was chosen to be a shortlisted entry this year!

Absolutely thrilled to be up amongst such incredible designers! Thank you @pentawards

(Thank you for the brief ;) @designerbriefs )

One pocket sized reminder.

Eight pubs close every week in 2026. Hundreds of communities losing their spaces. Every closure means fewer meeting places, less community and less jobs.

2,400 jobs lost in the first three months of 2026. 2,400 people displaced. Half of those displaced were young people 16-24. In a job market that is losing touch with entry level jobs. Where will we go without hospitality work.

Losing a third space can be detrimental to a community. It leaves people without places to just … be, and if we take away third spaces from the youth, all they have is a toxic online world.

Check the link in our bio to learn more on how you can help save your local.

Another zine 🧟

This was done for a small part of a bigger task in my last module. It was meant to reflect the actual scrapbook I have, quite a bit of junk. Tonne of messy scribbles and doodles and scanned in things I keep in my bag!

Someone asked me to find out what I love in design, and the answer was kind of everything. I like funny chicken shop logos, beer labels and high end design. If someone made an effort, I think it’s inspiring!
