Welcome to Candyland 🍭 Wow. I’m still basking in the energy from the Luxe Streetwear show for my debut @fashionweekmn. I’m so honored and proud to have been a part of this iconic show with such amazing designers and models. Thank you @qebellacouture for having me and supporting amazing local artists. Thank you @iamsarahedwards for curating these spaces for creatives to thrive. Thank you to my unstoppable team of support for holding me down and ready to help me during crazy times like this. I literally cannot do this without y’all. And last, but certainly not least, thank you to my gorgeous stunning superstar models!!!!!! Y’all give my creations so much LIFE and as an artist I was speechless at how well y’all rocked this collection. I curated each look with each model in mind and wow. WE REALLY DID THATTTTT 🤩 Models (in order of appearance): @stephjefa @bri_sprags @jarron_lamar @tetee_sinoe @tashira_h My boo @mykeyreed did a phenomenal job with our makeup for this show. You were such a breeze to work with and such a beautiful soul. I cannot wait to work with you all again!!! I’m just so proud of myself and so grateful for this life and these hands. Thank you to my body for getting me through this. I will most definitely be sleeping for a few days and taking some time to rest. I had the amazing opportunity to attend this introductory machine knitting class at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais this past weekend. I got to unplug and focus in on learning a new skill against the stunning backdrop of Lake Superior! 🤩 I was in absolute awe of the natural beauty I experienced!! What a beautiful way to unplug and explore a new place and art form. This will do wonders for my future projects and excited to explore all the new possibilities that machine knitting has opened up for my fiber arts journey. Can’t wait to share more about this trip. Thank you to my dear friend Natalie for coming with and recommending this class. Highly recommend taking on this adventure and the school has so many awesome classes to choose from! I love that they are committed to continuing the legacy of folk/historical art forms and keeping them alive. Creating and weaving fibers are some of the oldest art forms we have and I’m honored to be a part of that history 🫶🏾 @northhousefolkschool 1. Finished this sweater vest in only a couple hours!! First time ever and super proud of it. I will definitely be making more 😍 2. Sweater panel on the machine 3. Off the machine, before blocking 4. First project was this beanie! Super proud of this one too! 5. Tuck stitch 6. Beanie panel befoe becoming beanie 7. I loved watching the panels grow 🤩 8. All the pieces i completed during class 🥰 9. Artist selfie break🥰 10. Views from my classroom 🤩 11. Inside the classroom. Very distracting tbh. I wanted to jump in so bad 🥹 by @studio.rouge.454

Look at how far I’ve come! WOW! I’m still reeling from last weekend and just taking it all in. A lot of hard work has gone into making this space feel how I wanted it to the moment it was mine. I feel so blessed to have been able to share it with community, friends, and family that’s supported me over the last few years. I couldn’t have gotten to this point without the unwavering love and encouragement from you all. All the self doubt and stress just melted away after seeing everyone’s reception of the space. I’m still in shock that I created this. Welcome to Studio Rouge! I hope this space sparks inspiration, fuels collaboration, and just provides the necessary space to just be and connect. I look forward to sharing more about this passion project and hope you all continue to show up and experience this world of mine. Thank you thank you thank you 🥹🫶🏾🎉 by @studio.rouge.454
