Hoboken community comes together for @studio17cw founder’s daughter, Sophia 💚 Dr. Briza Walter, founder of Studio 17 Med Spa in Hoboken, has taken a leave of absence to care for her 11-year-old daughter, Sophia, following a sudden diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia. A GoFundMe has been created to help support the Walter family with medical expenses + loss of income as they focus on Sophia’s treatment. Local businesses + neighbors are also stepping up, including Studio 17’s “Glow With Purpose” facial and an upcoming happy hour fundraiser at Snack Bar by Schmitty’s. Read Sophia’s story + learn about all the ways to support the Walter family at TheHobokenGirl.com 💚 by @studio17cw

It’s more than a treatment room. More than an appointment on the calendar. More than the services we offer. It’s the people, the conversations, the laughs between appointments, and getting to do work we genuinely love every day. We’re so grateful for the community that trusts us, grows with us, and lets us be a small part of the way they feel in their own skin. 🤍 by @studio17cw
A more defined jawline doesn't always mean treating the jawline. Sometimes, the secret is in the chin. Chin filler can help improve facial proportions, enhance your profile, and create the appearance of a more sculpted jawline without adding volume where it isn't needed. It's all about understanding how the different features of your face work together. A subtle adjustment in one area can make a noticeable difference in the overall balance. The goal is never to change your face. It's to bring everything into better harmony. by @studio17cw
The treatment itself is only part of the appointment. How you’re welcomed. How comfortable you feel speaking up. Whether you feel heard, understood, and taken care of from the moment you walk in. Those things matter to us. Because good care isn’t just about what happens in the treatment room. It’s about how you feel while you’re here. 🤍 by @studio17cw
A good treatment plan shouldn’t feel like a list of things you were told to book. You should understand what we’re recommending, what it’s meant to accomplish, and why it makes sense for you right now. And if we don’t think something is necessary? We’ll tell you that, too. Because more treatment isn’t automatically better treatment. At Studio 17, we want you to leave your appointment understanding the plan, not just following it. by @studio17cw
Your next Hoboken facial can do a little more than just make you glow 🤍
I had the chance to experience @studio17cw’s ‘Glow with Purpose: Sophia’s Facial’ and it was such a lovely reminder that a little self-care can go a long way, especially when it supports something so meaningful.
This special $200 facial was created to support the Walter family as Dr. Walter’s daughter, Sophia, is undergoing chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia. Proceeds go directly toward helping the family during this incredibly difficult time. 🎗️
It’s a beautiful way to treat yourself while showing up for a local family who could use a little extra love and @skinbyhailie is truly the best!

Filler and Sculptra can both restore what’s been lost over time but they don’t work the same way. Filler is about volume, shape, definition, and balance. Results are visible right away, making it a great option when we’re looking to enhance or restore a specific area. Sculptra plays the long game. Rather than filling one specific spot, it works by stimulating your own collagen production to gradually improve structure, firmness, and overall skin quality over time. One gives us more immediate, targeted correction. The other builds gradually from within. And sometimes, the best treatment plan includes both. by @studio17cw
You've probably researched more than you needed to. Filler or Botox. This provider or that one. Before and afters that all start to blur together after a while. Here's what we've noticed... Most people don't actually need more information. They need someone qualified to listen before jumping to a plan. That's what the consult is. No pressure, no script, just a real conversation about what you're actually looking for, and whether we're the right fit for that. Book yours, link in bio. by @studio17cw
Your skin usually tells you what it needs. You just have to know what to listen for. Here are a few of our favorite options for these concerns: Dull, tired-looking skin → Chemical peel Sun damage + uneven tone → NeoElite laser Makeup not sitting the way it used to → Dermaplaning Fine lines starting to show → Microneedling Rough, uneven texture → Chemical peel The right treatment starts with understanding the actual concern, not whatever happens to be trending. At Studio 17, we’ll look at your skin, your goals, and the bigger picture to determine what actually makes sense for you. by @studio17cw
Consider this your sign to stop saying, “I have plenty of time.” The best results rarely happen overnight. Botox needs time to fully settle. Skin treatments need time to do their thing. And if you’re planning a series, or want room for a refinement, you’ll be glad you started early. A good rule of thumb: work backwards from the date you want to look and feel your best, not the date of the event itself. Holiday calendars fill quickly, and this is officially the time to start planning. Book your holiday appointments at Studio 17 now. ✨ by @studio17cw
Most aesthetics experiences feel like one of two things. Either it's so clinical you forget there's a person behind the treatment plan or it's so casual you start wondering if anyone in the room actually knows what they're doing. We don't think you should have to pick. Our providers are board certified and clinically trained, and this is still what a normal Wednesday at Studio 17 looks like. Qualified doesn't have to mean cold. Comfortable doesn't have to mean under qualified. Turns out you can have both. by @studio17cw
