After celebrating the roots, we’re heading straight for the dancefloor.

RHYTHM is all about Afro House. The records that make you close your eyes, lock into the groove and forget what time it is. Deep, soulful, funky and sometimes dark, this is a night built around movement from start to finish.

@ghedimusic — A veteran selector whose experience speaks through every set. Deep knowledge, timeless records and an instinct for reading a room that only comes with years behind the decks.

@dauudi.o — Founder of Studio 18 and a respected figure within Nairobi’s underground scene. Known for thoughtful selections and a deep commitment to community, culture and sound.

@mtu.solo — Better known as Mr. Thursdays. A Studio Can-V resident and certified room shaker with a knack for finding the sweet spot between groove, energy and pure dancefloor moments.

@yegon.wav— Not new to this. A seasoned creative whose attention to detail shows in everything he does. Expect carefully crafted selections delivered with confidence and control.

@tinashethedj - Magical selector who has a range and variety of styles to suit all and every crowd. Always cool, calm and collected and knows her way behind the decks.

@koity_ — Less than five months into the game, but already showing a natural ear for music. One of the most exciting new selectors to keep an eye on.

@cherubin.angelo — Studio 18 Sound System resident with a deep understanding of his sound. Precise, intentional and always locked into the journey of the set.

hey friends :) we’ll be hosting a pre-birthday movie night with our some of our closest friends over at @studio18soundsystem through @studio18ke on friday 24th april from 6pm till midnight at oro bar & restaurant at the suite life apartments rooftop in kilimani, featuring a film screening & sets by @o.jizzo, @dauudi.o & @sukuma.wiki!!

tickets are 500 but we have a few limited ones going for 350 now for the early ones ;))) capacity is limited too, so we hope you can make it!
