interesting series of events on my flight

doodled some sketches to enjoy my time. don’t like the thought “to pass the time” 😀wanted to put my energy to work

person sitting next to me asked if i was a student. then if i studied art in college. english was not her first language but we talked about life. i told her i did not study art but studied and went into business. guess she had been watching and enjoying my doodle process

she then said “no. you’re an artist”

😀

it is what I love doing!

some funny & kind simple words that were timed well. you never know what someone is going through! i will be praying for that flight neighbor as well as now introducing myself as an artist. lol! by @studiobriannalee

thank you @houstonbotanic for a great market, so great to meet everyone & to explore the garden!💛🍌 by @studiobriannalee

5x7 frames have been restocked (and with some new fun colors!) for this weekend’s @houstonbotanic Go Bananas! Festival! On Saturday from 4-8pm!

At the event, attendees can sample different banana varieties, shop a local vendor market, and purchase plants from the garden’s collection! There’s also a banana bread baking competition featuring local bakeries (not too late to make me official taste tester @houstonbotanic 🫡)!

Come stop by to add to your collection, start your collection :) or simply to chat!!! Can’t wait to meet everyone!!
