i used to think being behind the scenes was safer. no face, no name, just building other people’s brands while mine sat untouched in a notes app. turns out safe and small feel exactly the same from the inside. so here’s me, showing up, taking up space, being annoyingly transparent about the process. the wins, the weird tangents, the 20 seconds of courage it took to hit post the first time. still figuring a lot of this out in real time. still here for it. tell me one random fact about you, i’ll go first in the comments ♥ by @studioc.marketing
people ask “so what’s it actually like to work with you” more than almost anything else. so here’s the map. you bring the ramblings. i turn them into content that pulls its weight, whether that’s one deep strategy session or me running the whole thing so your weekends stay yours. and if you like being early to things, there’s a waitlist opening soon for something new. no details yet. just get your name on the list before i say more. dm WAITLIST to be first in line. ♥ #femaleentrepreneur #smallbusinessowner #yegbusiness #edmontonbusiness #everythingiscontent by @studioc.marketing
POV: two certified yappers come together. My list of questions for this yap were based around business, social media, and content creation but guess what- I can’t stay on topic if my life depended on it. I can’t wait to share more from this talk with @studioc.marketing . When I met her for the first time I said it felt like we knew eachother in a past life and I wanted to collaborate in some way or another. I did get a lot of good tips for you guys regarding social media… but we also cried over our inner child and uber drivers. More to come bb’s!! And thank you Celina for helping me bring this idea to life in 3 days (not even business days lol). 💛💛 by @studioc.marketing
every post needs a good formula to really take off. if you miss one of these things, you might flop before you even hit publish. ➡️ a banger hook ➡️ leverage for hitting that save or send button ➡️ ONE idea (no adhd posts pls) ➡️ keywords for the new algo ➡️ a strong CTA my next era is giving you all of these tips with the support you need. DM me WAITLIST to be the first to know what i’ve got up my sleeve. by @studioc.marketing
last week was SO DREAMY and i’m still reeling from it. I had a horrific head cold but you’d never know by the amount of fun i was having!! - @lifewnicolepomerleau and i went for a shop at @daniandmadi where we were so kindly styled for the shoot on tuesday - @yourfavevaco had her styled shoot at @caliandcostudios with @thelittlefarmhouserentalco, @amandapatricia.content, and @marissa_aslin with a surprise pop-in by yours truly - i was reminded how incredible being a female entrepreneur is when surrounded by other female entrepreneurs - it was my fourth year as a mom on halloween and my husband had it off so we went trick-or-treating with our beautiful babies and some of our best friends - nov 1 marks the first day of christmas in our home, so my hubby and i decorated the house and surprised our kids with it - despite my sickness, the gym didn’t take a backseat! - neither did my weekly work duties 🫡 studio c responding for duty in sickness and in health (my entrepreneurs understand!!) back at it with another great week and to start packing for our mexico vacation in two weeks 🩷 by @studioc.marketing
Six years designing other people’s decks behind the scenes, and a client just asked me who designed mine. 💀

Here’s what happened. I tried the new Gamma (Gamma 5) and imported one of my own Studio C decks as the style. Coral, cream, my fonts, the whole thing. Then I did what I do best and rambled a half-baked workshop idea at the Agent. It asked me a couple of questions back, showed me the outline before it designed a single slide, and built the full deck in my brand.

I exported it to PowerPoint for the client who will never leave PowerPoint, and the formatting stayed intact.

If you’re a coach, a trainer, or you run a med spa, your deck shows up in the room before you do. It should look like you made it on a really good day.

Start with the deck you’d least want to rebuild with @meetgamma (link in bio) 🤍

best-kept secret in town is a cute title for a speakeasy. less cute for your business. you can be incredible at what you do and still be invisible online. people hire who they remember, and nobody remembers the person they’ve never seen. so here’s how you fix that: 1. pick your three buckets. the work you do, the opinions you have about it, and the life you live around it. done. that’s your brand. 2. show your face. yes, on camera. it will feel weird. post anyway. the weird wears off faster than you think. 3. have an opinion. some people will disagree with you. the right people will feel seen because you said the thing out loud. 4. let them in on the boring stuff. the coffee order. the 6am chaos. the client win you screamed about alone in the car. feels like filler, but it’s the reason people stick around. 5. repeat yourself. you’re sick of saying it by post three. your audience saw it once, wedged between a pasta recipe and someone’s golden retriever. say it again. your personal brand is the one thing nobody can copy. use it. save this for the next time you’re staring at a blank caption box. and if you want help building yours, the waitlist is in my bio. by @studioc.marketing
i spent six years making other people look brilliant online. my own face? never once made the grid. being behind the scenes feels safe right up until you need someone to know your name. then it feels like you built a really nice house and forgot to put your address on it. the first post was rough. i survived. the next day was boring in the best way. and then people i’d worked with for years started connecting the dots and sliding into my DMs. your work deserves a name attached to it. ideally yours. the person behind the business is the business. time to act like it. comment WAITLIST to stay tuned into what’s coming next for studio c. by @studioc.marketing
i’ve spent years logging into other people’s instagram accounts. the strategy was rarely the problem. the plans were fine. the templates were fine. one posting schedule was colour-coded down to the hour. what stalled them was the stuff no manager can fix from the outside. the founder who wouldn’t get on camera. the hot takes that lived in the notes app forever. the dms full of content ideas nobody was reading. i could write the caption. i couldn’t make anyone believe it. so i’m changing how i work. less doing it for you, more teaching you to do it so well you’d never hand it back. details are coming soon. send me WAITLIST if you want first dibs before anyone else hears about it. and save this for the next time you’re tempted to redesign your grid instead of hitting post. by @studioc.marketing
coach or manager? one question settles it. do you want to get better at social media, or do you want it gone from your to-do list forever? if you freeze at the caption box but love the idea of building a personal brand, a content coach is your girl. you learn what works for your business, you build the community yourself, and you finally stop rewriting the same caption nine times. if every hour on instagram is an hour you’re not billing a client, hand it off. no shame. your DMs deserve better than a three-day wait. and if you’re stuck in the middle? start with coaching. worst case, you hand it off later knowing exactly what good looks like. comment COMPASS and I’ll send you the next step ♥ by @studioc.marketing
