From tourism institution to destination brand. 🇹🇭 Since 2017, we have been accompanying ZĂŒrich Tourism in the strategic and visual evolution of its brand. The new wordmark builds on the existing CI, opening it up to new stories, perspectives and experiences. Swiss graphic design tradition meets a little wink. 😉 A pleasure to keep shaping the identity of our own home city. Enjoy ZĂŒrich, Switzerland! @visitzurich #StudioMarcusKraft #MarcusKraft #ZurichTourism #EnjoyZurich #VisitZurich by @studiomarcuskraft

Throwback to this year’s campaign for @theaterspektakel! This year, we’ve worked with the French performer @vimala_pons and the photographer @maximeballesteros. Vimala Pons will also show her production "Honda Romance", creating a thematic link to the festival. At the heart of the campaign are bodies caught between vulnerability and resistance. Shot on analogue film in an industrial setting, the images show figures leaning, bracing, carrying or losing their balance – moments suspended between stillness and movement. The subjects are ‘physical translations of inner states’: micro-movements, emotional impulses that are merely hinted at in the visible. inspired by literary concepts such as Nathalie Sarraute’s ‘Tropisms’, a visual language emerges that makes the invisible tangible. The photographs are complemented by short video sequences that show the protagonists in almost motionless sequences. minimal shifts – a tremor, a breath of air – undermine the apparent rigidity. Rather than staging movement, the campaign makes its inevitability noticeable. The campaign will be visible across various media from now on. The 47th edition of the festival will take place from 13 to 30 August 2026 at the Landiwiese and other venues across the city. Signage and wayfinding system for @theaterspektakel. With over 15 stages and almost 200 shows during 18 days, the festival programme can be quite overwhelming. We help to navigate in time and space with various visual interventions. With well over 100’000 visitors, this cultural event in Zurich is one of the most important festivals of contemporary performing arts in Europe. It is traditionally a venue for great international art from all over the world. This includes stars and newcomers, brilliant entertainers and people who tell stories from their countries and stand up for their positions with their political art. The campaign also reflects this diversity. The campaign was prepared across a variety of print and online media: in addition to the popular posters and the programme newspaper, the campaign will be seen on advertisements, digital out-of-home screens, in the trams, in the cinema, on web banners — and of course on the festival site itself.
