The Art of Seeing was also about being open—to learning, unlearning, and seeing from a new perspective.

We’re grateful that our community saw and felt the experience with us, and we hope it added something meaningful to their own creative journeys. Every kind word encourages us, while every thoughtful reflection helps us learn and improve, too.

Thank you for sharing this experience with us. Your voices will continue to shape how we learn, grow, and create together. 🤍

We opened The Art of Seeing: Painting From Life with a special live musical performance by Ivan Nery, Filipino opera singer, songwriter, and arts educator whose work spans classical performance, musical theater, vocal training, and arts education.

Before the first brushstrokes of the afternoon, Ivan welcomed our artists and guests with Filipino and French classics, from “Ikaw ang Mahal Ko” by Tito Arevalo and Levi Celerio to “Ah! Lève-toi, soleil!” from Charles Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette — bringing music into the room as we began an afternoon of observing and painting from life. by @studiosessionsbyartfix

A little something sweet in between all the making. 🍨🎨

Thank you, @carmensbest, for being part of our Studio ArtFix weekends and for adding an extra treat to our creative sessions. From quick ice cream breaks in between strokes to tubs shared after hours of drawing and painting, these little moments made our gatherings even sweeter.

We’re grateful to have a partner who continues to support the spaces we create for artists, learners, and our growing community.

Here’s to more slow days, creative hands, and the joy of making — with a little indulgence in between. 🤍

i’ve been taking some time to simply receive what we’ve been able to experience through @studioartfix. (haha sobbing!!! for a week na!!!)

we’ve brought artists and people together, created spaces to learn and make art, worked with different communities, welcomed new collaborations, and somehow found ourselves doing all of this in places we once only hoped we could work with.

there’s still so much we’re figuring out as we go. but looking at these photos, i’m reminded to appreciate what has already been built — not only by us, but with the artists, our team, our community, partner venues, collaborators, sponsors, families, and friends who continue to support what we do.

to our collaborators from @luxaeterna.paris — @eyraudadrien, @mi.ikaa_, and @ezkayeeh — thank you for bringing your practice, perspective, and generosity into this collaboration.

to @pintanggalastudio and @jethromedina.art, our partner artists and instructors — @edcel_ac, @by_ashleighd, and @nomer_husain, to my core team, my superb amazing sister and head of operations @prm_mdln, and to my creatives lead, @ggabiee.a — thank you for sharing your time, practice, and love for art with our community.

and to coach @ivan.nery.88, thank you for filling our spaces with music and making the experience even more memorable.

thank you to @kmcsolutions @iamkimmckenzie and @yspaceattheyuchengcomuseum @yuchengcomuseum for welcoming us into your spaces, and to @carmensbest for sharing something special with our community.

and especially to our @studiosessionsbyartfix artists and the whole @studioartfix team — thank you for continuing to build this with us, both in the spaces people see and in all the work that happens behind the scenes.

for the amazing photos and videos, we super appreciate you @thaddartist. since day one!!

just feeling grateful for what we get to do, the people we get to do it with, and all the places art continues to take us. 🤍

from the bottom of our hearts, mabalos saindong gabos.

Thank you for being part of The Art of Seeing: Drawing & Painting From Life. 🤍

Two days of coming together to observe, create, learn, and see beyond what we think we already know.

Beyond drawing and painting, these sessions became a space for learning and unlearning—for being receptive to different ways of seeing, exchanging knowledge, looking back at artistic traditions and history, and discovering what we can learn from one another through practice.

Our heartfelt thanks to @eyraudadrien of @luxaeterna.paris, @jethromedina.art @pintanggalastudio, our Studio ArtFix artists and team, and everyone who helped bring this collaboration to life.

Thank you as well to @kmcsolutions and @yspaceattheyuchengcomuseum for welcoming our community into your spaces, and to @carmensbest for sharing something special with our participants.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to learn alongside others. This is what we hope to continue building through Studio ArtFix: spaces where art, knowledge, history, and community come together.

Until the next session. by @studiosessionsbyartfix
