Of course, all the information you need to find the right programme for you and to complete your application is gathered on our website: uu.se/study

You should get Mecenat! 👀

What is Mecenat?
Mecenat is a digital identification system for students only. Basically, this is proof that you are a student here in Sweden. 🎓

Why do I need Mecenat?
One word: DISCOUNTS💸. Having Mecenat will allow you to get discounts on every aspect of your student life.

How can I have Mecenat 💳?
You should download the app and follow the instructions there!
You will need a personnummer, or, if you are an international student, the T-number in the format YYMMDD-TNNN (look at Ladok).

As a biology lover, the Museum of Evolution Zoology is one of my favorite places.

This huge collection of preserved specimens was gathered by researchers dating all the way back to Carl Linnaeus himself in the 1700s! 🐾

Some are even holotypes, the original reference specimens used to define and name a species for the first time. 🦥

Check @evolutionsmuseet or the university website for opening times.

And if you are a student at UU, bring your campus card to enter for free!

As a student at Uppsala University (and a dinosaur fan), this is arguably my favorite museum! 😍

The Museum of Evolution Paleontology has real dinosaur bones from the Jurassic period and earlier! 🦕

It has lots of fossils, and it's also home to the largest collection of Chinese dinosaur fossils outside of China!

If you have time this weekend, you should definitely give it a visit! Check the Evolutionsmuseet Paleontologi page on the university websitt for opening times. @evolutionsmuseet

If you are a student at Uppsala University, bring your campus card, you'll get in for free!🤩

How are you REALLY doing? 😵‍💫

Moving to a new country can be incredibly exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Between the darker days, being away from family and friends, and adjusting to a completely different way of life, it’s completely normal to find it challenging sometimes.

As part of Mental Health Week, I wanted to put together a few tips and resources that have helped me since moving to Uppsala. Swipe right for some student-to-student recommendations that I wish I’d known when I first arrived 🌿☀️

Do you have any tips that have made life in Sweden a little easier? ⬇️

As a student in Uppsala University, I knew I couldn't miss this spot!

Apart from the beautiful hiking route, this place's history stretches to almost a millennium!

If you are interested in Uppsala's Viking history, make sure to pay it a visit!
The museum offers guided tours in the weekend as well!
