Been eight years between these two pictures with @shajjadrizvi from @asociatialittlepeople's Temerarii Christmas Gala. What a long, strange trip it's been... When I started with patient advocacy, I was chronically lost and confused, not sure where to go, what to do. Missing flights, shutting down in unknown territory and adversity.

With practice, help from @katierizvi and the ENTIRE team from @youthcancereurope, I've overcome these challenges. Mostly, we all falter... :P Will always be new challenges to overcome, but I've got the support to tackle them.

Anyway, it's an honour to be part of YCE and @youthcancernetwork, to meet all Temerariis and be part of these communities. I'm eternally grateful, thank you all from YCE, YARN, Little People and all Temerariis 🤗 by @sturessonerik

Playing Pokemon on the balcony. The past few days have been a roller-coaster, waking up from my slumber after two years. Almost. The depression came back to the point where I had issues with personal hygiene. I do feel like I've grown anyway.

I'm just so happy, grateful for that things are opening up again. (I'm very strict with mask and disinfectant though. They have it everywhere in the hotel 😊 And people comply in the hotel as well 🙂 ) by @sturessonerik

My first haircut in two years. Been very rough, very isolated. But the boarders are open so I'm in Spain now. Yay 🙂 by @sturessonerik

Not a fan of insects really, but seeing them up close is interesting sometimes. So unassuming and humble. Nothing like the vain and arrogant birds strutting around in their pompous feathery attires 😋 by @sturessonerik
