Doors are closing soon for Your Million Dollar Look, and I want to share something personal about why I believe so deeply in the power of investing in yourself.

In my 40s, I learned firsthand that sometimes changing how you show up on the outside can be the spark that changes how you feel on the inside.

My makeover didn’t magically solve everything. But it gave me a much-needed boost in confidence, energy and motivation to make other positive changes in my life.

And it all started when I stopped waiting.

I didn’t wait to lose weight. I didn’t wait for life to get less demanding. I decided to give myself the same attention and care I’d spent years giving to others.

That decision became a turning point.

And after helping so many women through their own transformations, I’ve seen how powerful that decision can be.

You don’t have to wait for the perfect time, the perfect body, or the perfect circumstances to start creating a personal style that makes you feel beautiful, confident and fully yourself.

✨ Your Million Dollar Look enrollment closes Tuesday, October 27!

Carla and I would love to help you create your own transformation through our seven-step style process, with the option of six months of personal coaching and support.

Explore the program and enroll through the link in bio.

What could change in your life if you felt more confident?

#YourMillionDollarLook #PersonalStyle #StyleTransformation #MidlifeStyle #StyleOver50 by @stylecorelife

Sometimes we wait to feel more confident before changing how we show up. But transformation can work in the other direction, too.

A new color, silhouette, hairstyle or way of dressing can interrupt an old story. When the person in the mirror begins to reflect who you are becoming, you may stand taller, make bolder choices and see new possibilities for yourself.

For women, a change in image can feel like permission to step forward.

For Image Consultants and Personal Stylists, this is the deeper purpose of the work. We aren’t simply changing how someone looks—we’re helping her experience herself in a new way.

The outside isn’t everything. But sometimes, it’s a powerful place to begin.

A custom color palette isn’t pulled from a box or handed over from a predetermined season. It’s created one color at a time for the individual sitting in front of you. 🎨

That’s exactly what our students begin learning and practicing during the Level I Essential Personal Stylist Training.

With AICI Certified Image Master Carla Mathis beside them to guide the process, students work directly with a client—observing her inherent coloring, identifying the qualities that create harmony and selecting colors that truly bring her to life.

And they don’t just watch. They practice, ask questions and receive feedback in the moment as they develop their own trained eye.

A well-designed custom palette is powerful. It gives a client greater confidence in what suits her, makes shopping more focused and helps her build a wardrobe that feels harmonious, personal and unmistakably her.

Swipe through to see the process unfold—and the finished palette in the hands of the woman it was created for.

Want to learn this skill for yourself? Join us for the Essential Personal Stylist Training, January 18–22, 2027, in Sacramento, California.

These transformations didn’t happen because these women suddenly became more fashionable.

They happened because they learned how to see themselves differently—and then learned how to make intentional choices about color, fit, proportion, style, accessories and the image they wanted to express.

That’s the work we do inside Your Million Dollar Look.

It’s not about becoming someone else.
It’s about bringing the woman you already are fully into view. ✨

If your life has evolved but your wardrobe hasn’t quite caught up, this may be your time.

Enrollment for Your Million Dollar Look is open now for a limited time.

Come create your own transformation. 💛

Some teachers give you information. The rare ones change the way you see.

Carla Mathis is one of those teachers.

Even after years of learning from Carla and teaching alongside her, I’m still amazed by what she notices—and how she uses what she calls “the language of encouragement” to help people recognize their unique beauty.

Kellie’s experience captures the heart of this training. You come to learn professional color and styling techniques, but you also discover how meaningful this work can be.

During our five-day Essential Personal Stylist Training, Carla teaches you to observe the whole person—not place clients into rigid categories. You’ll practice with professional tools, receive personal feedback and begin developing the trained eye to serve clients with greater confidence and depth.

Join us January 18–22, 2027, in Sacramento, California.

We are glowing after our very first Style Alignment Experience! ✨

Carla and I had such a meaningful morning talking with women who attended about what happens when your life has evolved, but your style hasn’t quite caught up yet—and how powerful it can be to really look at the way you’re showing up now.

There were so many thoughtful moments, honest reflections, and little lightbulb realizations around identity, visibility, confidence, and what it means to dress in a way that actually feels like you.

That’s the part I love most about this work. It’s never about turning you into someone else. It’s about helping more of who you already are come through.

We’re doing it again tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14 at 4:30 PM Pacific, and if you can’t make it live, a replay will be available.

So grateful to get to do this work. 💛

If you’ve been meaning to give your style some attention…

But there’s always something—or someone—more urgent.

So you keep wearing what’s easy, buying things that don’t quite solve the problem and telling yourself:

Someday, when I have more time, I’ll figure this out.

Or maybe it’s when I lose weight…when life settles down…when I have more money to spend.

But waiting has a cost of its own. You may feel less confident, less at home in your own skin—and keep spending money on clothes that never feel quite right.

If that sounds familiar, I’d love to help you take one small step now.

Carla and I are hosting a free live Style Alignment Experience to help you look at where you are in your life, how you want to show up and whether your current style is truly supporting you.

Together, we’ll explore why your wardrobe may feel disconnected from who you are now, what your image is communicating and how you actually want to look, feel and be experienced. Then we’ll help you identify where to begin so making a change feels clear and manageable.

This is the first time we’ve offered this experience, and there’s no cost to join.

Come to one session or both. Each will include different insights, real examples and guided exploration:

October 13 at 9:00 AM Pacific
October 14 at 4:30 PM Pacific

You don’t need to complete anything beforehand. Just reserve your free seat through the link in my bio.

If you’d like to see where you’re starting, you can also take the complimentary Style Alignment Audit. The quiz takes less than 10 minutes and helps you recognize what’s working, where you may feel disconnected and what deserves your attention next. Find it through the link in my bio, too.

You spend so much time showing up for other people. Could this be the moment you carve out one hour for yourself?

Before style can express you, you have to know who you’re expressing.

Trends, color systems and body-shape guidelines can offer direction. But truly compelling style isn’t built from the outside in. It begins with understanding your personality, values, lifestyle, preferences—and how you want to feel and be experienced.

For everyday women, self-knowledge makes getting dressed more personal, intentional and freeing. You stop trying to become someone else and begin expressing more of who you already are.

For Image Consultants and Personal Stylists, this is the deeper work: seeing the whole person rather than simply assigning her a look. When a client feels truly seen and understood, your recommendations resonate—and the transformation lasts.

Whether you’re dressing yourself or guiding someone else, always begin with the person.

There’s a moment in every training when you can almost see the shift happen: students stop guessing and start seeing. ✨

It happens during Look Review.

Each day, participants step forward in one of their six prepared outfits and answer two questions:

💬 Where would you wear this?
💬 How do you want to be perceived?

Then we look closer—at what’s working, what the outfit is communicating and how the colors, proportions, textures and styling details connect to that person’s unique personality and style archetype.

This is where principles become practical. Where students learn not only what works, but why—and how to apply that understanding to every client as an individual.

Already have a professional foundation? Our advanced Complete Personal Stylist Training (Level III) will help you deepen your eye and your expertise.

Just beginning? Our foundational Essential Personal Stylist Training (Level I) is the place to start.
