Fun fact: this was a little experiment with the random stationary oil paints which I’ve never used before! those paints were gift from my dad and since he still sees me as a child idk, his choice was a stationary oil paint set not my beloved ride or die winsor😅 but I had to honor those paint bcz he once said “if you want to become an artist you will starve” when i was 6 💀💀💀💀😭🤣 I gave it a try and learned that tools aren’t that important? it was a good practice and I’m happy with the final result of course this brand is more transparent if you ask me, my best honest description would be: imagine acrylic paint but still wet after 4-5 days?? moral of the story is you don’t need the best material to create something nice 🐉 I decided to use these paints for alla prima studies on paper ——— #oilpaint #oilpainting #artprocess #paintingprocess #oilonpanel by @sudepaint
this step is very important because with the canvas, I prepare myself too 🐒 imagining the idea, the composition, the feelings that will be carried also meditating, making good wishes for everyone who will interact with this painting. casting good spells 🪄 usually my underpainting is red(or raw umber) but today I got inspired from this track’s album cover, that’s why its purple I couldn’t film every step, my storage was FULL😁 but you can fill the gaps with your imagination; [picture that I light an incense and did 2 more layers of gesso and splashed more paint at the end] ——— #oilpainting #paintingprocess #artprocess #dailyart #artstudio by @sudepaint
Joy (2026) oil on canvas 50cm ‘Joy’ takes its name from the parrot, and my wish to bring joy to our lives. if you’re curious about the painting process, don’t hesitate to swipe left original painting is not available, found a home💖 but you can order a print! also you can check out my other paintings that are still on my wall :) ——— #oilpainting #oilpainter #paintingprocess #artprocess #dailyart by @sudepaint
painting the face, the eye! just a base oil sketch of it, will add more details and shadows but i had to stop because it’s dinner time and i’m the chef 😭 also she needs to dry a little bit. so excited and sad at the same time, because we almost got to the finish line of this painting - #oilpainting #paintingtimelapse #arttimelapse #contemporarypainting #surrealism by @sudepaint
every artist has their ways, if you’re curious this is mine. of course, when I do studies, I look up to old masters, public domain pictures etc. there’s no rules! but when it comes to creating a painting that I want to last for many years, I love to use my own perspective of life (if that makes sense) i’m almost at the end of this painting, will post the whole process without subtitles :) also f*** AI ——— #oilpainting #paintingprocess #contemporarypainting #surrealism #oilpaintingoncanvas by @sudepaint
and the angle was off! we almost can’t see the varnish… and it took me forever to finish🥲 but posting anyway because “we don’t make mistakes, we just have happy accidents” ——— #painting #oilpainting #varnish #artprocess #artstudio by @sudepaint
goodbye Küçük Hanım :’) Red Dream is still waiting to be found and taken to her forever home! I had to prepare its certificate too because I just can’t waste beautiful papers 😌 if you’re new to collecting artwork; a Certificate of Authenticity is more than a piece of paper. every original artwork carries its own identity, history, and place within an artist’s body of work. I wanted each of my original paintings to have a permanent record that stays with the artwork; documenting its authenticity, origin, and details for the person who collects it. so I made my own COA, along with a small protective handmade envelope to keep the artwork’s documentation safe over time. because an original artwork should come with more than just a signature. ——— #oilpainting #artstudio #artcollector #asmr #packaging by @sudepaint

holy orange! oil paint on cotton canvas 40 x 50 cm (15,75” x 23.62”) 2026 ——— #oilpainting #surrealism #contemporarypainting #artcollection by @sudepaint
saying goodbye to these two will be tough :’) but not yet they’re still with me, hanging on my wall until they’re ready to leave the nest… yes i’m overdramatizing it but they hold big meanings for me. I have to write a whole column for ‘Dreamer’! but ‘Skull with a Pearl Earring’ is just my admiration of Johannes Vermeer and a tribute to one of my art milestones. and yes i’m still struggling with child locks ——— #oilpainting #paintingprocess #paintingforsale #surrealism #minipainting by @sudepaint
