The hardest cake I’ve ever had to make ❤️‍🩹 not because it was complicated, but because it was made to celebrate my brother’s short life that ended way too soon, instead of his 30th birthday.

He loved playing poker with his close friends, so I went all out with a high-roller style cake ♠️♥️♣️♦️🃏

The top tier is funfetti with crunchies, and the bottom tier is chocolate chip cake with Nutella filling topped with crushed Kinder Bueno - his favorites

I don’t know what the future of Sugar by Sasha will look like, or if there will even be one, but he was always my biggest supporter and I’m forever grateful for that 🤍

𝓖𝓪𝓫𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓵 🧸💙

We are eagerly awaiting little Gabriel’s arrival! The shower for mom- and dad-to-be was absolutely adorable, complete with a hot air balloon and teddy bear theme.

The cake is funfetti with a whipped vanilla bean filling, and the mixed-style cupcakes are funfetti and chocolate!

We did a pretty-in-pink, mini two-tier cake for Camila’s 30th, complete with hand-painted gold drips and beautiful roses!

The inside is to. die. for! It’s a vanilla bean cake with a thin layer of dulce de leche topped with a whipped dulce de leche filling and crunchies 🤤

The excitement on Raafi’s face when he saw the volcano “erupt” is the reaction every baker hopes for when little ones see their cakes! Swipe to see the video 🥹

The cake is funfetti with a strawberry whipped cream filling topped with white chocolate crunchies for that “strawberry shortcake ice cream bar” flavor. Perfect for the summertime!

A sweet cutting cake for the beautiful, happy couple! The bride wanted something simply elegant to complement their white and green theme.

This two-tier is a vanilla bean cake with whipped vanilla filling and white and milk chocolate crunchies.

Congrats, C & W! 💍

R O W A N I S 3 🤠

A Western-themed birthday party for the little sheriff with a cake to match! We’ve got hand-painted stars and a horseshoe, cowboy boots and a hat, sand for the desert, the quintessential red bandana, and lasso rope to bring the whole design together for my little cousin who is growing up way too fast!

The inside is a chocolate cake with Nutella filling and chocolate crunchies - such a delicious combo 🍫

The sweetest pretty in pink baby shower for a little angel on the way!

Mom and dad (and baby girl too!) are huge fans of funfetti, so of course the cake is funfetti with crunchies in the middle 🎊

We went simple and modern for the cake design. We also made mini strawberry cheesecake cups and lavender mixed floral style cupcakes!

End of 2023 bakes 🎂

This baking/social media break has been *much* needed, but I still don’t know how I never got around to sharing some of my favorites from 2023!
