Day 40 Rascal to Graduate Karen Ann Williams I was once considered a problematic child, Throughout school, I was pretty wild. I did all I could to gain attention, Anything to get a rise, or my name a mention. I hated school and learning too, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I drove teachers to destruction, And ignored each and every instruction. My final exams didn’t go so well, On results day I really played hell. But who knew where my life would lead, Back to the beginning where one planted a seed. Twenty-eight years later, graduated for the third time, A mature student forty-four years in my prime. Now I love learning and want to teach, I have mastered the art, so I can reach For the stars, and continue my journey, But I’d prefer to be a lecturer, not an attorney. I thought I was thick and not very bright, But I was wrong; now look at me write. by @sullybear63
