meet the team 🤎

decided I should take some updated headshots with all parts of Summer Dawn Films present, hehe. Crested Butte felt right since it’s the place we got married just over 3 years ago — and we added a super 8 camera to the fam! 🎥

what started as a solo endeavor quickly turned into a business that wouldn’t be possible without Dylan. wedding days go so much smoother with him by my side: whether he’s finding a rogue groomsman to mic for his toast, capturing another angle during the ceremony, or (most importantly imo;) grabbing me a bite to eat at cocktail hour, he is truly the biggest hype man and best second shooter I could ask for.

this wedding season has been off to such an incredible start, and we feel so blessed God has us in this industry 🫶🏻 here’s to another year of Summer Dawn Films 🥂

some Crested Butte magic for your feed from Bre + Anderson's beautiful wedding day 🏔️🪞🕊️☁️🥂

always so fun to film at the venue we got married at, and even more fun that we got to work this wedding alongside our wedding photographer @nicoledenaephoto too! 🤍 by @summerdawnfilms

Genuinely soooo many people on wedding days assume Dylan runs the business just because he’s the guy.

We’ll be standing right there together, and people start asking *him* about gear, editing, and business logistics.
He usually just looks at them clueless and goes, “Uh… you’ll want to ask her.” 🙂‍↕️

Dylan is an AMAZING 2nd shooter. But I’m the one replying to emails, buying gear, running social media, editing, and filing our taxes hahah.

I guess there’s not enough female videographer representation 🤧 by @summerdawnfilms
