After 13 years of photographing families, I've learned that sometimes the best thing you can do is throw the posing guide out the window and let the kids do their thing. 😂

Those little personalities, spontaneous performances, and completely unplanned moments are usually my favorites.

The trick is being ready when they happen! 📸

Between the crowds and the mosquitoes, getting these dreamy fall photos should qualify as an extreme sport. 😂 But would I do it again? Absolutely. The lighting is THAT good. Just bring bug spray and maybe a blood transfusion.

I'd rather deal with bugs then crowds if I'm being honest.

Fall in Arizona looks a little different. 🍂☀️

Knock out those family photos early, get your holiday card checked off the list, and spend the rest of the day soaking up the sunshine.

Sweater weather but not really. 😂🌊
The water still feels nice!

Not your average senior session. 🌊☀️

While spending fall break in Rocky Point, Mexico, we stumbled across this abandoned ship down the beach, and obviously, I wasn't passing up the opportunity to shoot here!

London, that turquoise dress, the ship, and the most incredible golden-hour light… I mean, COME ON! 😍

This is why I love finding unexpected locations. Sometimes the most random places make the most amazing backdrops.

Senior photos should be as unique as the senior in them, and this session was definitely one for the books!

I know, I know… it’s not quite Christmas yet! 😂🎄 But it’s never too early to capture some holiday memories with the family. ❤️

A huge thank-you to Sarah @sunshynepix for taking our pictures! She’s the best, and we couldn’t be happier with how these turned out. Somehow she managed to capture all the smiles and a little of the kids’ personalities, too! 📸😂

If anyone needs holiday pictures done, give Sarah a call or send her a message! 🙌🎅

A little reminder that you don't need a wedding, a pregnancy, or a holiday card deadline to get photos with your favorite person. 🤍

I photographed these two on their wedding day and again just two months later. They're celebrating ONE YEAR of marriage! 🥂

The wedding is just the beginning. Keep documenting the good stuff.

Send this to your person if your camera roll is 99% selfies and blurry pictures of each other. 😂

First family photo session with the Schupes as a family of THREE! 🤎

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to capture all the beautiful chapters of my friends and clients’ lives.

From photographing their wedding in Mexico to now capturing their sweet little family, it’s such a privilege to be part of these milestones.

Watching couples become parents, babies become toddlers, and toddlers grow into little people with big personalities… it’s one of the things I love most about this job.

The years go by so fast, and getting to freeze a little piece of each chapter in time is pretty special. 🥹🤍

One of my favorite ways to end a golden hour session. 🌅

When the sun is almost gone and there’s just that last little bit of color left in the sky… it’s silhouette time.

There’s something so simple and timeless about these shots. No distractions, no perfect expressions needed—just connection, movement and that gorgeous Arizona sky. 🤍

In this reel I’m sharing a few tips for how I shoot my sunset silhouettes so you can try them at your next session.
