Assistant Coach Highlight

Patrick “PJ” Hart is entering his second season as an Assistant Coach for the Wildcats. A native of Camillus, New York, Hart played his collegiate lacrosse @ritmlax where he developed into one of the program's top faceoff men.

During his career at RIT, Hart excelled at the faceoff X, winning 146 of 238 faceoffs (.613) in 2012 and ranking among the nation's leaders in faceoff percentage. He also amassed significant ground ball totals and helped the Tigers compete at a high level in both conference and NCAA tournament play. Over his career, he combined toughness, consistency, and possession-winning ability to become a key contributor for the program. For his efforts Hart was named a USILA All-American Honorable Mention.

Hart’s impact on the Poly face-off unit in the 2026 season was very positive; the face-off unit saw a 5.2% increase in face-off win percentage YOY. In this role, Hart helps develop student-athletes and contributes to player development while focusing mainly on the face-off unit and the offense. Hart is known for his faceoff expertise, work ethic, and passion for the game.

Hart works full-time as a Certified Project Manager in Syracuse, NY. Hart resides in Camillus with his wife Sarah (who is kind enough to let PJ spend time with our team!). They have two daughters (Lucy & Nora).

Thank you, PJ!

Huge shout out to former Syracuse University Men’s Lacrosse All-American Luke Cometti conducting Leadership Training for our team today.

Luke talked about his unique experience starting in high school all the way through to his current professional life. He gave our team real life scenarios that shaped his journey. Luke gave different avenues and ideas on how you can constantly improve in all facets of life. The main theme being process improvement comes through repetition, knowledge, and consistency.
