MEET YODA — LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME

Yoda first came to me as a foster in January 2025 after he and his sibling were found outside during a severe ice storm in Oklahoma. They were adopted once they were healthy, but through no fault of his own, Yoda was returned to the rescue in December when his owner’s circumstances changed and he was being kept in a crate most of the day.

In August, my dad brought Yoda from Oklahoma to Washington, and he is now looking for his forever family.

Yoda is the happiest dog you’ll ever meet! He is:

🐾 Great with dogs and loves to play
🐾 Wonderful with people
🐾 Fully potty trained
🐾 Mostly good off leash. We are on 10 unfenced acres and he loves to lay on the front porch
🐾 Toy-loving and always carrying one around
🐾 Happy to explore, relax, and enjoy life

His only quirk is that he gets into things when left alone, so he needs to be crated when you leave the house. He is comfortable in his crate and otherwise is an incredibly easy dog.

Yoda deserves a loving, stable forever home. If you think he could be your perfect match, please reach out or share this post!

He is available through the rescue, Angel Fund OKC. He is up to date on shots, and is neutered.

Joey just went into an unexpected surgery. Please pray he will be okay.

Joey has struggled with intermittent lameness in his hind leg for quite some time. We’ve gone to countless specialists, who have done ct scans, mris, X-rays, bloodwork etc. everything has always come back inconclusive. He has now developed a lump on his leg which is being biopsied. We’re in California where he is with an amazing specialist.

He has a full ACL tear, and they think he may have had a partial tear for a while that was not able to be seen. He also has something going on with his ankle. While they’re doing surgery, they’re going to biopsy the lump and remove a growth around the ligament.

Joey is my whole world, and I love him more than words could ever explain. He has a piece of my heart that no one else could ever fill. No dog will ever compare to Joey. He is just 3 days away from his 7th birthday. He is so incredibly special to me, and I pray we will be on the other side of this soon and that everything goes smoothly today!❤️
