I’m too depressed to think today. So I will sing? Instead. Singing along to Katie Thompson ( a GODDESS ) on YouTube. Or.. TRYING to sing. by @suzannerachel13

I often wonder if he’d be proud. I often wonder if he would have lived yo see this part of my life. I often wonder what I would have done had he not passed away when he did. I often wonder if he hears me. I often wonder if he sees me. I wonder if he’s sad I don’t have children yet. Or am not married. I often wonder if he would have continued to boast to everyone who would listen about my accomplishments. I often wonder if he’d still have hair. ( ha!) I often wonder if he protects me. I often wonder if guides me to safety in ways I can’t tell or can’t know. Or even fathom. I wonder if he tries to reach me when I am too sad to see straight. I wonder if he’s happy when I’m happy. Or when my brother’s happy. Or when my mom is happy. I wonder if he knows his beloved Knicks won ( I know he watched them win in 1973). I wonder where he is. Is he a butterfly? A blue jay? A soul waiting to be reborn? Or maybe he’s nowhere. Or possibly everywhere. Maybe he’s on the edge of my bed at this very moment watching me type these words. I do NOT wonder, however, if he loved and adored me. Of this, I have never been more certain. And for that, I was the luckiest. XO by @suzannerachel13

La madre. I can’t believe I graduated today with a Masters. Best decision I ever made. Social workers are a special breed of humans, and I’m honored to have learned from and studied along side of the best. #LMSW#hunter #silbermanschoolofsocialwork by @suzannerachel13
