Please do not deprive yourself or the world from what you come here to be, say, create, experience, share, live.

What is alive in you, is so for a reason. You are meant to be yourself, live your life and touch people and planet with your soul's being.

The world is in uprising, and this is a vital part of the revolution.

Here's to living from our hearts

How often do you have the urge to "fix" the way you feel?

I know I can be tempted to. To think that the bitterness (Projector, hi 👋), doubt or sadness is a sign that I need to immediately act and do something in order to become happy or to return to happiness. Or even change everything about myself or the world around me.

It is true that emotions are powerful messengers. They bring us insights on how we are meant to and desire to live our lives.

But to receive their wisdom fully, we need to create a safe space within ourselves. To sit with our emotions and witness them for a moment. To explore them with curiosity, instead of fear. With patience, instead of haste. And choose that to be our starting point for aligned action.

Because when we want to act too fast, (subconsciously) our thinking takes over. We then merely touch upon the surface of an emotion and immediately say "Right! I have felt it, I get it now and this is what I need to do!".

Which is in fact just another way of repressing and avoiding truly feeling our feelings.

It is a logical dynamic, when you understand that the mind wants to keep you safe in what it knows - and feeling can be new and scary. So your mind can mistake emotions for a dangerous thing that it needs to fix, a scary place it needs to get you away from ASAP.

But emotions are not a problem to be solved. They shape your inner world, and are a looking glass into your soul. And when we learn to feel again, we will truly come alive as ourselves. by @suzie_go

Luckily for us, We Are Nature.

We may have forgotten this a little bit. We seem to believe the story that we are separated - from Nature, each other and ourselves. Thinking that as humans, we have to do, achieve, buy, run, compete, impress - all so that we can BE someone.

Do you see the irony? How all this doing is actually preventing us from being? And if you do end up 'being someone': is that someone even you?

Perhaps our greatest purpose is to fully be ourselves, just like every living being in Nature.

Like a seed, we may grow at our own pace. Like a flower, we are beautiful being our unique selves just as we are. And like the trees, we too can live rooted and with presence.

We are allowed to move slower, more intentionally, more aligned and in connection with ourselves and each other.

I believe that deep down, this knowledge was never truly lost.

All we need to do, is remember and breathe it back to life.

With an emotional authority, life becomes more flowy, aligned and so much more rich once you to learn how to honour and surf your emotional waves.

Sometimes all you need is to sit with it and give yourself space to allow everything in.

Yesterday I did just that.

As I was making my way down the stairs, I decided to sit down and watch the sunset for a while. To just be, and let all feelings wash over and through me.

I completely broke open because of the big show in the sky and the birds free falling to the song on my headphones.

Right then and there, as people moved in and out of offices and a mother delightedly in love with her toddler walked past, I cried.

A silent stream filled with wonder and amazement mixed with tears of heartbreak, for the world and for my own processes. It is the Year of the Snake after all.

Amidst of all my emotions, music and lyrics carried me home to myself.

"Don't let go, just breathe slow
So hold on, it will pass
Don't give up, don't let go
Grey clouds, they'll, they'll break up
Just breathe slow"

When I biked home, a lantern smiled at me. by @suzie_go

One of the more powerful lyrics I have ever heard is "Your hate will always be my guide" from the song "War" by Belgium band Brutus.

It might sound aggressive, but to me the meaning is quite the opposite. I read into it the promise of relentless and neverending love.

Where hate tramples the path with its destruction, it guides the way for humankind where love is needed. It shows where hate and fear is currently reigning, and where love can still be amplified to tip the scales in its favour.

And this is what we are witnessing around the world.

Hate is playing out its agenda, but people are awakening and stepping up from love. Love for each other, life, Earth, love for the sake of love.

And not just the gentle kind of love, but love in terms of action and standing up for what is worth fighting for.

This post is to remind myself and also you that there is more love than hate in this world.

May it inspire us, move us and unite us 💛 by @suzie_go

In these deeply tumultuous times, my body just danced a truth into my consciousness.

"I came this far, I will not give up now
I am given only what I can handle
I can handle this, I will not break
And if I break, I am breaking open"

Like in this song,
there's rhythm to be found in the chaos
and magic within the maelstrom.

Surrender might just be the most powerful form of perseverance. by @suzie_go

When governments stay quiet and complicit
And thousands of innocent people get murdered by targeted hits
Do we look away?
Do we sit in silence for another day?

Only to witness another slaughter,
countless more mothers and daughters
Murdered, crying, famished, lost and alone
A father carrying his son as a bag of flesh and bone.

Or do we let our feelings in and allow our tears to flow
Truly listen to our hearts that shout GO
AND DO SOMETHING.

Fear and hopelessness can make one wonder what it is that we can do
My love, just listen to your heart and be true to you
Rise up for love, humanity and life
And show others it is safe to speak up and strive
For a better world.

Together we can and will make a difference. The only reason we would fail, is if we never even try.
