It’s really quite cool owning a 747 😝

Yes, she won’t be flying anywhere, anytime soon, but seeing the joy and smiles on people’s faces as soon as they see here, is absolutely priceless….. especially some of the children that haven’t been on a airliner before….

Worth the arm, leg and kidney £££ 😵‍💫 to preserve her for people to enjoy, and give her a forever home.

Another beautiful day @cotswoldairport 🫶
and our 747 events space is available for private hire @negus747 and check our Cotswold Airport web page for general open days & tours.

Look what arrived today! 🤩
Not a spot of oil in sight but having said that, she only has 18 hours on the clock 😜
Our first ever Boeing 787 Dreamliner… what a beast and those engines 🤤
Today was a GREAT day ❤️

Full video to (hopefully) come shortly, to include interior shots, once we have permission.

And what a pleasure to meet Boeings Chief Pilot René, who flew this beauty into us @cotswoldairport Friday 20th April’24

Three years since you came into our lives 💥
Forever grateful to @british_airways for entrusting us to be custodians of BA G-CIVB 747 Negus.
What a journey it’s been (and headache) but you were so worth it, preserved for generations to come and an iconic piece of aviation history.

@negus747 is available for private hire, with a full wedding licence. Corporate and private event use. Full L-Acoustic sound system, SL1210 and CDJMs.

This morning saw HA-LKG a Smartwings Boeing 737-800 arrive in from Prague.

Nice to see an older 737 with the eyebrow window above the main cockpit windows.

Saturday saw our last taxi run of 2026, with XW544 being the star of the show, sporting its new 15 Squadron markings and refurbished nose leg!

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and braved the wet and windy weather, supporting the team’s efforts to preserve the Blackburn Buccaneer, and thank you to all who attended an event with us this year. We look forward to welcoming you all back in 2027.

Did you know I played Polo for England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, once!
My bag finally got retured from an unplanned and extended trip (3 weeks) in the hellish depths of Rome Airport….
Did you know, everyone at Rome airport is incapable of answering a phone? Or they simply list phone number on their website that don’t exist?
My bag only found its way back, thanks to @contrailsphotography who actually works for, drum roll… Air Canada and is based in ….MONTREAL ….
People at Rome Airport and ITA airline couldn’t give a flying FK.

Thank you Mathew for saving my bacon… actually BAG, but it had all my important stuff in it.
Liquid lunch on me when you’re next in the UK.

Just dropped Lucas back to his school @grotonschool in Boston, after a fun few days in NY with friends…
Bursting with pride for both my sons, when they’re not ripping each others heads off or kicking the other in the 🥜
