Hi friends,

I'm doing a little account pivot.
I'll still be sharing my style, my thrifted finds with humour and my unique perspective but my criticism of mainstream narratives, the false collapsing reality, and general inescapable bs will feature as a prominent element as it is my nature to explore what's real and it's not my nature to fake things easily.

Fun is my primary frequency and it is my intention to always be playful especially when the memes are so genius 🤣

Ischia rolled out the red carpet for me
Sunshine, healing waters, dangerously good food and spectacularly helpful locals.
My driving here will be the stuff of legends 😜 by @suzieperonstyle

One of my super powers is landing on my feet where lodgings are concerned.
Whether on sabbatical in New York, living in London or doing short stints around the world I have always been blessed in finding superior accommodation at excellent rates.

This stay in Catania has to be m finest hour yet. Scroll through to see why.

The standards in Sicily are high but what I look for are rooms in authentic Italian buildings that celebrate the magnificent historical splendor and scale of the buildings.
I can't abide the standardised temu decorations and cheap fittings that are ten a penny illuminated by the blinding led lights of a surgery . The artist in me needs everything to be an artwork and why shouldn't it be?

This place was a 10 and my standards are notorious.

Tasteful touches all the way through, even when some of the furniture was mass produced the attention to colour and finish elevated every detail so that nothing jarred the eye or any of the senses.

This is the level I will be looking for going forward
Hats off to Catania!
