Italian atmospheric black metal band Svart Vinter will release their sophomore studio album “Isvind” on May 30th, 2025 via Non Serviam Records

Today SVART VINTER unveil the official video for the first single “Of Cold And Grief”.

“With its chilling atmosphere and relentless intensity ‘Of Cold And Grief’ paints a picture of a world plunged into eternal winter, where light is fading, and the cold is the only constant companion. This track is an exploration of the raw, unyielding nature of grief, death, and the solitude that follows. It is a journey into the heart of winter, where the cold is not just a season, but a reflection of inner torment,” comments the band.

We are proud to officially welcome Valerio Primo (SVNTH, Thecodontion) as our new drummer! Valerio is an incredible talented extreme metal drummer, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him behind the drums. We want to thank @lucatiraterra for the last two years in the band and wish him all the best for his musical projects and life.

These photos were taken during our performance at @oratorijfestival in Slovenia, and they perfectly capture a very special moment for us.

A huge thank you to the entire Oratorij Festival crew for having us and for putting together such an incredible festival. Playing in the middle of the Slovenian forest, surrounded by such an amazing atmosphere, was truly something special.

Special thanks to @tjasek.4 for these photos.

Last but not least thanks to everyone who came to see us, supported us and shared this night with us.

15.8. ❄️SVART VINTER
is an Italian atmospheric black metal band formed in Rome in 2021. Heavily inspired by the classic 1990s Norwegian black metal scene, they fuse cold, sharp riffs with haunting melodies and rich doom textures. Their lyrical themes center on nature, isolation, grief, and the human condition by @svartvinterband
