Some stories begin with a big idea.
Ours began with Gulab Jamun. ❤️

In 1973, A.C. Venkatachalapathy started Swastiks with a simple idea: to make cooking easier while bringing authentic flavours and quality to Indian kitchens.

Five decades later, that idea continues to find its way into kitchens across generations.

From Gulab Jamun to pickles, masalas, spices and instant mixes, the journey has always been about creating food people love and memories they keep coming back to.

Five decades. Countless kitchens. One Swastiks.

Tangy tamarind, aromatic roasted spices and the familiar taste of temple-style puliyogare. ❤️

Swastik’s Puliyogare Mix brings together tamarind, red chillies, jaggery, roasted peanuts and sesame seeds for a balance of tang, heat and subtle sweetness. Each ingredient adds to the depth and aroma that make this South Indian favourite so comforting.

For those who enjoy a richer, nuttier flavour, Swastik’s Puliyogare Mix With Cashew brings together tangy tamarind, carefully roasted spices and crunchy cashew pieces. The added cashews give this Karnataka-style favourite a satisfying bite and a festive touch.

Whether you’re packing a lunchbox, preparing a quick weekday meal or bringing the family together for a festive spread, there’s a flavour for every occasion. Enjoy the classic tamarind-spice balance or reach for the richness of cashews when you want something a little more special.

Two delicious ways to enjoy a familiar favourite, with the authentic flavours and trusted quality Swastiks has brought to kitchens for over five decades.

Some food memories are best served with a generous dollop of ghee! ❤️

At the SIIMA Awards 2026, we caught up with Pranitha Subhash to talk about her favourite Bengaluru foods and, of course, her love for ghee.

So, what is one Bengaluru food she can never say no to?

“Idli, dosa!”

But when it comes to ghee, there’s one special favourite.

Obbattu!

A traditional sweet enjoyed during Ganesh Chaturthi, Obbattu is one dish where ghee makes all the difference.

And when we asked her which dishes simply aren’t the same without ghee, her list included Obbattu, sambar rice and dosa.

Because some flavours are more than just ingredients. They are part of our festivals, our food traditions and the memories we cherish.

What does ghee mean to you? For Lasya Nagraj, it goes way beyond food. ❤️

At the SIIMA Awards 2026, we got talking to Lasya about her love for ghee, South Indian food and the memories that come with it.

Her connection with ghee goes back to the very beginning of her acting journey, when her first advertisement was for ghee. And ever since, it has held a special place in her life.

So naturally, we had to ask:
How much do you actually love ghee?

Her answer was simple.
“Oh, I love ghee.”

From ghee dosa to hot sambar rice, Lasya knows her favourite combinations. And according to her, ghee and sambar rice make quite the combination.

Because sometimes, it isn’t just about the food.
It’s about the flavour, the memories and the feeling that comes with every bite.

At SIIMA Awards 2026, Shruti Haasan was asked a rather delicious question!

If you had to compare someone from the film industry to ghee, who would you choose?

Her answer?

Anushka Shetty. ❤️

“Sweetie, very genuine and sweet.”

And then the conversation took a delicious turn towards Prabhas and the food he brings to the sets while they’re shooting! 😋

So, does the food come from Prabhas’ home?

Shruti’s answer says it all:

“Don’t ask about it. Prabhas’ canteen. It’s the best food!”

From the sweetest people to the best food, this conversation had all the right ingredients.

Because when ghee is added to food, it makes everything extraordinary.

A little ghee. A lot of love. ❤️

At the SIIMA Awards 2026, Tejasvi had a simple question for Arjun Das:

What role does ghee play in your diet?

His answer?
“It’s measured. 10 grams in the morning and at night. That’s how Mum makes my food.”

So naturally, the next question had to be...

How much do you actually like ghee?

“I like it. It’s nice.”

And then came the real dilemma:

Ghee with rice or ghee dosa?

Arjun’s answer said it all.

“Anything Amma makes with ghee, I think, is nice. Ghee dosa, of course.”

Because sometimes, it isn’t about choosing between rice or dosa.

It’s about the person who makes it, the ghee that goes into it, and that unmistakable taste of home.
